Honestly, I did not find your initial post that bad, it's just the wording that turned something innocuous and fun into something negative.  Which is really my only point, a little bit of consideration goes a long way to avoid argument and people feeling put-down.

And ToP again, let's see.

there a way to mod that Lash diff at all?

After deliberation with ELE i can report they are the same.
Also, miri's/eva's etc are wrapped differently, so they won't work.

@Ashoken: Lida is awesome as well as her pics. Glad to see that EC worked out for u. About EC this the only thing i'll say: it did somewhat clarify the 3 choices(i still have a lot of questions without answers). The backlash is that the clarification made Destroy as the only possible viable choice for any of my Shep. Before Synthesis fitted my Deirdre paragon alt; and Control was the obvious choice for my Deirdre renegade alt; Since EC only Destroy represent more or less what i envision as a solution to the Reapers threat no matter what background/psyc profile my Shep is.

Hmm, seems the imgur issues are browser related. May have to grab their plug-in if it's spyware free.

Anyway! Meet Karys. My original import due to the face bug, managed to grab a decent shot of her using ELE's Devon no freckle texture. Soldier, Liaramancer of course.

This is a Femshep thread and how she relates to the game, including how she relates to Vega. Hell if we wanted to, we could talk about how much Femshep likes oak tables. If you don't see your Shepard with Vega then that is fine and dandy. But some of us had made Shepards made for a Vega romance. This unprovoked negativity only served to hurt someone. This was not about your opinion or our opinion. You can hate a character to the moon and back but to use your explain "It's as if you walk down the street and you see a man kiss a woman and you just think: what does he see in her?" Well this was like you actually walked up to the man and said, "Your girlfriend is ugly as poop on a stick, why are you with her?" and you being angry for getting punched in the face. Do you see the difference?

Wording of initial post.

There's a difference between saying "I don't understand why people like Vega" and "I don't see my femshep with Vega for x reasons."

The second is perfectly reasonable, the first serves no purpose other than to put other's opinions down.  Whether that is your intention or not, or whether you care or not, I think being considerate to other people's feelings is a good thing.

Honestly, I did not find your initial post that bad, it's just the wording that turned something innocuous and fun into something negative.  Which is really my only point, a little bit of consideration goes a long way to avoid argument and people feeling put-down.

Put other's opinions down? What?!

See, this is what I just don't understand. Why do you feel put down when someone says he can't understand why people like one of your favorite characters? It makes no sense. For example: I like EDI. When somebody tells me that EDI is a stupid sexbot, I ignore them. I certainly won't feel put down or something like that. That person disagrees with me and that's fine.

But OK, I will try to phrase things differently then. I know this may sound like an easy excuse, but I'm not from an English speaking country and sometimes I have difficulties with phrasing things in the same tone as I would in my native language. So if something sounds insulting, I don't mean it that way (unless I deliberately use offensive language) and if you're not sure what I exactly meant, please ask, OK?

Edit: also, I am having trouble with these screenshots appearing grainy and blurry in this thread, but when I look at them on my computer, they are clear as day and look much better. Is it because I'm linking them through Bioware albums? Or is it because I'm saving them as .jpg's?

Probably a bit of both; as I understand it, BMP is a lossless format (so you get all the image data but also a correspondingly bigger filesize) whereas JPGs compress the image data to produce a smaller filesize but with a corresponding loss of data, so pictures appear (are) less sharp. In addition, the max image size (width) the Bioware albuims seem able to handle is 500 pixels, so if (like me) you're using Bioware to host your images you can upload a 800 px wide image only to have it 'squashed' down when Bioware's finished processing it. :(

I see some people use Imageshack or Photobucket to host their images instead (these are the often ones that when you click on them they get bigger).

Hey I appreciate that :)

Also, sometimes I forget that not everyone on here speaks english as first language, so sometimes tone is misinterpreted.

I said I didn't understand what people saw in Vega, I didn't say I find him ugly or whatever. If you see me asking a question (what do people see in Vega?) maybe you could just answer the question instead of feeling all hurt and insulted. Punching someone in the face, or responding with hostility on a internet forum because someone bluntly asks you something, is just plain weak.

Thank you @SaturnRing and @demos99. I will look into other image hosting venues to see if that makes a difference. I use the free version of Fraps for screenshots, and not having to convert them to .jpgs would be rather convenient.

Also, and this might sound trite and be unwanted, it's a good idea to remember we are using a written medium to communicate. There are no visual cues or voice infections to give us a clue as to a poster's intent.

I've seen great examples of patience and helpfulness in this thread and some of that really recent, and I've seen some not so great. It's always best to take a step back from a post that has made one feel angry or hurt or whatever strong emotion it may make one feel for a bit before posting a reply.

There was nothing wrong with a little joking and the pix linked to. Maybe posts could have been worded a bit differently but calling people out in a public forum isn't always the best thing to do. That's what PMs are for. Things seem to be working out now, and that's good.

We needs more Shep.

Here, have a grainy Asche.

Well I was going write out a big long post about if you negative BS, comment on the poster's skills as an artist. Not the content of the picture. We can draw paired with a dresser if we want. But then I realized I didn't care if some people on this thread don't like Vega. Ele, Ottemis, Mizz and I really liked him and really wanted him as a romance.

Soooooooo.....
*Awesome Vega snips*

And btw if you think what Ele linked was smut, you are clearly having sex a lot differently than I.

There fixed it for you :P

Must resist all texmods! The thing is, if I start tweaking I go all the way and I end up in vicious circle of texture tweaking. I try my best to draw a line somewhere and to try not to cross it. :P I really try the same with Skyrim, I want to actually play it first at least!

Lol. Yeah, between all the flycam and compulsive texture tweaking, 5 minutes of gameplay will take all day!

I wish flycam for ME3 worked as good as it did for ME1 and 2. I haven't gotten nearly as much awesome artsy SS as I want. That really sucks for the game being as aesthetically pleasing as it is. (Besides the really horrorable low-res textures, thanks for the high-res download for PC players... oh wait... <_<)

*awesome snips*
I would have more shots like that if it wasn't for the fact that doing certain things causes Shepard to be locked in place forcing you to reload. I can't be arsed to play a scene over and over again just to get the shots I want.

As for texmods, give in!! Its not addictive at all... I can quit anytime I want, man! Anytime I want!

Posted ImageListening to u guys talk about it will make me an addict way before i experience it. Or maybe it did. No i can quit anytime i want!

*eye twitching* We're not addicts? What...nope...no addiction there.

@Raziel1980: Yes, Jennifer's a Soldier; I don't really hold with the idea of changing class between games, I mean, how would a Soldier suddenly gain Biotic powers, anyway? That said, I do permit Jennifer Redux to use Reave as her Special Talent but in my headcanon it's a Tech Power (not Biotic) granted by Jennifer's Cerberus implants.

PS. Glad you like her pictures; I worry a bit about posting ME2 images in this ME3 thread but I hope (generally) people don't mind. I completed three loyalty missions last night (Samara/Thane/Garrus) and when I checked the screencaps Fraps had auto-generated there were > 24GBs worth(!), so it'll will take me a little while to shift through them to find the good ones.

/snips pics n dialog.

.

Bolded: I can totally understand your point in this...and yeah, I was asking because I saw a screenshot of Jennifer using Reave...then using the Viper sniper rifle( though if you've seen my ME 2 screenshots...you will notice all fo my characters have a soldier loadout eventhough that's not the class I normally play as. I just found it abit interestign ebcause I tend to play the game from a lore perspective as it pertains to bonus powers...meaning a vanguard like Allison can't take energy drain...and a infiltrator like Gabriella( Gabby) can't take reave or slam or dark channel in ME 3. I'm also working on my own side project in which I;m trying to figure out which powers fits which class without breaking lore or being redundant...like I would have my soldier's taking ammo powers as bonus powers because they already ahve 3 of them.

I do REALLY REALLY like her pics....and I don't think anyone minds...I've been posting alot fo ME 2 pics myself of my various characters. It seem like you use FRAPS to auto take your pics, I instead like to take them manually...but then again since I know where most of best ones are in these games that's rather easy for me to pull off.

@S.R. : Thanks! :D Yeah...the extended barrel you get for sniper rilfes looks quite abit different from ones on assault rifles...I guess that is how they distinguish themselves from each other.

@kraysi : AWWWW...Dawn's story is over...for now, but new game + and new hair colors await...I personally can't wait to see what you do with her now. :D
@Tup3xi : Resistence of texmodding is FUTILE! Though if your talking about making your own...that sorta thing eludes me as well...I leave that to the modding goddesses ELE and ottemis! :D Though, I really do like Tiia with the devon texture...her cute as button persona seems to show even more with it in my eyes.

@Ottemis : a new modding porject from you too...AWESOME..will eb handly for the 5 -10 minutes of gameplay that I actually use the avenger. :P

@LuckyThirteen: i actually like the idea you have for a Vega-mance...as if to not make it full romance but something there...so those femsheps who have been heartbroken by bioware's writing idiocy( Thane n Jacob anyone:mellow:) can atleast have some fun before the final push to stop cerberus and reapers....

@Ashoken: You do NOT need to be humbled...your femsheps are AWESOME and sexy in their own right! I especially like Lida as I have mentioned to you before... I also thinka  third party site like photobucket would work wonders for your screenshots, that is where I have all of my screenshots posted from my various games( with the exception of Skyrim...those are on my steam account/page).
@Greggy: Another cute as button femshep from you? YES, please...give us more! :D

Anyways... I have rambled enough about the day's comings n going...time to post some more fo Allison...and p.s. I decided to instead of Selena....Gabby is actually gonna be my other canon( or atleast the ones for the renegons...since she is an infiltrator whereas Selena is also a Vanguard).
