There's definitely a pre-drop brief, at least going over environmental conditions, and any possible opposition. Who ever is actually making the mission is notified then and there.

I tend to put the squad selection down to game mechanics and head canon everyone on board ship to go on more or less every mission, unless the game gives them something else they might be doing.

@Ottemis, Lida is very happy with your expansion of the N7 Armor texture project. That shoulder looks fantastic. Can't wait to try it out with her.

@Rikketik, I think the scarring goes away in that 6 month period where Shepard is sitting on her hands under house arrest. Although for some Sheps, I would think that would frustrate them enough that the scars should get worse! I agree, Kendra rocks the scars. And that screenshot was indeed taken during the Tuchanka bomb mission. That Hydra took that Atlas down to one bar. The sniper rifle did the rest.

All my Sheps rely on Traynor to call the team to the mission briefing before any mission. There is a debriefing afterward. And, like @Wulfram, although the game only lets us control Shep and two team members, I head canon that the entire team and support staff actually land on the planet and take part in the mission. If Asche takes Kaidan and James, then Garrus is leading a team protecting their flank, EDI's mobile platform might be doing tech stuff planet side, etc... So everybody goes. That's why I didn't have a huge problem with the entire team leaving the Normandy in ME2 prior to the Collector ship attack.

The coffee question: Asche drinks her coffee black. Lida doesn't drink coffee. Energy drinks ftw!

@Merylisk, I've said it before, I'll say it again. I adore Anja. I really like what you with her eyes.

@LdyAly, can't wait to see Melinda in action! And your challenge faces are awesome! I especially like #2

@Crazy Greggy, that's exactly the way Asche looks when she finds the coffee carafe empty. Here's hoping Nyalla is successful in her quest!

@krayzi, I've seen what the folks in the past have done with this challenge. Lovely Sheps. I am glad you have ressurected it. I think I will take your challenge, but not being able to use the same features twice or mods... I'm addicted to mods. I accept. More later.

Have about 15 or so shots from Karys' run through Menae, Grissom, Surkesh to upload, not sure if people want to see more shots of another of my Sheps doing the same thing. Karys and Nyalla are pretty much running side by side and if I'm honest that's probably how I'll run them. Could get dull with just a different face in the same places, but here's 1 gem that I got by accident, leaving FRAPS running at 1s intervals.

@meonlyred : Nice...if I had known that, that's the route I would have taken with her. I named her Amelia, she's a sentinel and my trilogy Liara-mancer( outside of the smirk screenshot from ME 2 I got after completing Garrus's LM with her). Side note: Are you still planning to play Penelope or are you holding her back in hopes they fix the screwjob that is Thane n Jacob's romances( I guess I am also asking about Dakota as well). 
@Ottemis: more awesome Armor mods? YES, please! ( I can't use the arms armax shoulders this playthrough...but Denise will when I continue her game).

@Rikketik : Thanks..., People seem to like them all well enough. The black lipstick on Allison is her trademark...it's what sets her apart from all my other femsheps and pretty much most of femsheps in the thread( only LadyAly's Carry has also used it from what I have noticed).

@merylisk: Thank You... I could say the same for Anja...I love your armor color combination on her...I think I will have Stacia where that when I get to her game.

Her names Liv, Para Infiltrator Spacer, War Hero. I'm just writing a story about her as poor Liv's a bit confused at the mo. She left her potential LI in ME1, Kaidan, to ensure the bomb went off, then that Jacob fellow promised that they'd 'have some time' as soon as the collectors were stopped, but he's gone AWOL and now she's confused by Vega's flirting and she thinks she's developing a girl crush on Liara!
This sums her mood up at the mo.

Thanks everybody who answered my question about the mission briefing. I hadn't really thought of it myself, but it makes sense that Traynor would help with that. The same goes for the pre-mission meeting with the whole team and that missions aren't just "Shepard + team take the shuttle, while everyone on the Normandy chills out" (probably at the poker table ).

I will comment on the other Shepards posted here if I have time tonight. Until then, here are the shots of Berlitz on the Rachni mission that I promised:

It was great seeing Grunt again. Hearing he was chosen to lead an elite Krogan team made Berlitz feel proud, even a bit at herself. She was his battlemaster, after all.



Ugh... couldn't those Krogan have gone first? The rest of the team was OK, luckily. Wait, did she hear Vega shouting something about 'webbing'? She didn't like the sound of that.



After a rather claustrophobic crawl through a narrow passage (although she got the feeling Vega, who was right behind her, enjoyed the view) they finally made it though the central chamber. She could see the Queen and Grunt ensured her his team had their back. How well this mission would end, depended on the state of the Queen though...



The Queen escaped, but Grunt had to leave Aralakh behind. And now with all these Ravagers on their path, things looked grim. Grunt was willing to stay behind, to buy them time so they could get safely back to the shuttle. What do you say at moments like that? Berlitz decided to channel her inner Kamina.

"Listen, Grunt. Don't believe in yourself. Believe in me! Believe in the Shepard who believes in you!"

She knew it sounded retarded, but Grunt didn't seem to mind. And hey, maybe it actually worked! Because when they finally got back to the shuttle, who suddenly appeared behind them, bloodied and hungry? 



More good news on the Normandy. Mordin has figured out how to cure the genophage and they have exactly what they need to disperse the cure as fast and efficient as possible. Berlitz doesn't expect that everything will go completely right on Tutchanka, but things seem to be looking up again.

Lida reminds me a bit of Chiara - Chiara is still moaning Jack's death. Jack was like a soulsister to her - even if she never told her. But beside Lida with this hairstyle is very sexy
