Just popped in to have quick look at your game. Very nice. You play much more smoothly than I do (I tend to pause a lot and never time my Mako jumps quite as neatly); guess it helps if you know the game really well.  Interested in whether you're using a controller or the old keyboard/mouse combo to play the game, btw.

It's cool you put the arms in double, one with stripe, one without.
Not so cool that you wrap it wrong, and BOTH arms have the stripe in effect.
Also not so cool that the base texture is 512-512 and because of that f-up, half of that space isn't used.

So I pulled out Nimue, my Renegon Vanguard, this weekend. It's a different experience from Renee, who's a Paragon Infiltrator. Renee's official ending is destroy, and Nimue I've played as being rather short tempered in the heat of the moment, so I'm not sure how her ending will be. Suggestions?

I got a little time to play tonight. I wanted to try out Ottemis' new armor textures. They are great btw! I was stupid, however, and chose the Gellix (Jacob) mission to try them out. Back in ME2, Lida was the character I used to experience the choices I didn't make with Asche. Lida was my first Jacobmancer.

I am just so mad. All over again, at how Jacob's romance was treated. How Shep is treated by all involved. Grrr. I mean, look at this face Brynn makes at her.

It's terrible. And then the rest... ugh. Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to stomach the game again. Interesting that Ashley came up today. I am currently exploring having Ashley around with Lida. I have some thoughts, but I'm too tired to submit them in a coherent manner. Maybe tomorrow.

In the meantime, let's wash our palate with Lida with guns.

Okay, this isn't Lida with a gun, but I liked this shot. She remains hopeful after the crap with Jacob, and the future with her blue gal.

I never had played a sentinel before, it's interesting. Very resilient, but not as much punch in close combat as my previous vanguard. Lead to so untimely manoeuvres... I'm trying to have both a biotics and weapons orientated style at the moment, starting to yield a sniper rifle more than the usual pistol/shotgun/assault. But yes, she's more biotics than tech, for sure

I know very well what you mean with writing in the non native language. Made it not  easy to write the NaChaya Story - since I'm from Germany. My english knowledge was fragmentary. Bolstered it with some Vacations, and the most I learned from playing with english people in MMORPG's. You could call it - learn it by do it.
So Grammar is always a bit of a matter for me and sometimes terrible wrong

Both my canon's give the Ardat-Yakshi the benefit of the doubt because they chose to not be like Morinth. Morinth was rogue and Rogue's do no make up an entire group of something (She's a spectre that chased a rogue one, but not all spectre's were bad) Wheneve they get outside I mash the paragon interuptbutton until it's pressed because I would enver let Samara kill herself. Ever.

The first impression about the place is so elegant and beautiful (in the usual day), but without the lights and with Banshee's scream, it is not just creepy but horrific.

Paragon or Renegade, my femsheps deal with fact in the first place. Morinth is an exception that she had escaped from Monastery, other than this, it proves having all the-willing-to-stay Ardat Yakshis in one place works perfectly. My femsheps respect thier determination to live separate from the universe, if they can find peace in here, there is no reason to 'lock them up' or even killing them.

The existence of Samara doesn't really matter, having her will make Shepard feel more comfort on leaving them in the Monastery.

I am glad I never went through my plan to romance Jacob for an import. I saw the video on youtube and it is just so embarrassing and painful. I can't believe they went there, without at least giving Shepard the option to break it off instead of being pathetic at his feet

Since it's a closeup and you can see her eyelashes, I was wondering if anyone wanted the texmod I made that makes the lashes shorter? It's not perfect or anything fancy by any means, but the default lashes are a pet peeve of mine and I wondered if anyone else would like to use it. Consuelo uses the second eye shape, IIRC, so that's what it looks like on hers.

Here it is on other eyeshapes...can't remember the slider numbers, lol:
the really common eye shape lots of people use  and
downward tilted eye shape <-modded (and here's the unmodded comparison, eeeeek)

If anyone's interested, I'll upload it here I guess.

I'm for sure would be interested @yukidama. I think they mixed up upper and lower lashes <.<
My thought was always the upper lashes are far to short and the lower far too long ;P

Hey all! Just wanted to share some texmod funzies. I have to thank GraphicSyns from some pages back for sharing their texmod success story (congrats on getting your Shep back btw!), otherwise I'd still be trying to figure out wtf was going on with the normal maps on mine. xD

Anyhoo, Jennelyn before and after higher resolution textures.



Basically just complexion 1 with more of the delicious detail popping out, plus some bits of painting over here and there. You'd have to look more closely to see them though. The lips don't appear too cartoony now too which is good.

I'm ready for another ME3 run now. <3

@ LadyAly: Germany, huh? I guess we're neighbours then, as I'm from the Netherlands. I believe someone else in this topic was also from Germany? Well, anyway, judging by your posts I wouldn't have guessed it.

And yeah, the best way to learn a language is just by using it a lot. I remember when I first started posting on international forums -- posts that took maybe ten minutes two write in Dutch could take an hour to write in English. I could understand the language perfectly fine, but using it myself was a whole other matter entirely. It's getting better now, luckily.

@ Ashoken: Oh, spankin' time! I think Berlitz might go do that too. Might help her unwind a bit after the stress of the last few days and the possibility of getting friendzoned by Liara.

Story update (and comments on other Shepards posted here) will come later. For now, I just want to say the Revenant is still f*cking awesome!



Hide behind a wall, don't bother with aiming don't the sight and unload four or five magazines in an Atlas while your squad members mop up the footsoldiers. Hell yeah.

(Oh, and nevermind that damn power wheel -- it's the only way for me to take action shots.)
