Desiree would have picked Refuse if it was blended with Destroy. I will explain what I mean by that...

Take the dialogue in the first half of refusal (where we tell Space Hitler to go pound sand) but before the little glowy bastard pulls a vanishing act, Desiree shoots the control panel thing and begins the Reaper destruction sequence. But Desiree was smart and had EDI stealthily upload the Reaper Code fragment into the Crucible, and all the Reapers and ONLY the Reapers die.

(I felt it was completely unnecessary and stupid to bundle EDI and the Geth along with "all" synthetic life) 

Until I receive that option I personally will refuse to complete the game, the current endings we have do not live up to what the series as a whole stood for so I will happily accept my Head Canon as the true ending, seeing Desiree and Kaidan play with their two daughters in the living room of their house.

Well, Tiia did choose to refuse first because all those options sounded stupid and unreal. She did choose destroy since the star brat insisted that refusal isn't really an option.

Thank you! I'm glad to see her back too. It's been far too long~ I've only just recently started to try texmodding though so it's taking that much longer for me to progress her story. I don't think I'll ever go back to a no-texmod game now that I've had a taste. xD
Speaking of which, I love what you've done with Allison! She looks stunning with her hair set down.

@chevyguy87 - Letting Shep tell the Spacebrat off before destroy would be nice. I love how Shep says, "let's get this over with." like she knows she's kind of been beat and has little choice in the matter.

I did try it out w/ UJ and loved the dialogue for Shepard in the end. I was even thinking of using it as her canon end, but she's a diplomat. She'd even listen to a Reaper if it meant she could understand them better. Ultimately, all my Sheps figured they we between a rock and a hard place w/ no clear logical reason as to why, but there they were and so they took a choice. I like that they added the choice of refusal, but it is a bit of a slap in the face when it gets triggered by shooting the Starbrat. Getting it through the dialogue makes sense and I understand what they were trying to point out. You have to use the Crucible. If Shep and co were able to beat the Reapers conventionally it would negate the whole Crucible plot. I'm not saying that I like it, but I understand it.


April Ryan Shepard (for a change). She was my neutral Shepard. Hers was a very strange and difficult playthrough. She stayed mostly paragon, but as you can see her scars started coming back.

No, according to me. Nice try at sarcasm, though.

Saren got the idea of merging organics and synthetics from a Reaper. Synthesis is a merging of organics and synthetics directly proposed by the "collective intelligence" of the Reapers. There's no semantics there, in fact, Saren being indoctrinated makes the connection even more direct, since it is Sovereign putting the thoughts in his head.

You're free to discount this aspect in your own playthroughs, of course, but regardless of that, there is a thematic connection there, though I think Hudson and Walters' clear pitch in favor of Synthesis is meant to break that association. But unintentional or not - the logic is still there, which in my view is just another indication of how bad they needed an editor. Without a proper in-game explanation of the means of Synthesis asides from "space-magic" there's still too much uncertainty.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on this - since I don't want to turn this into an "issue" in here.

I am not sure about - I mean Shepard had a task- to Stop the Reapers-  somehow. Refusal would be mean she failed, very hard - So its for my Lady's a no go. Curious as I am I might try it on a Male Shep maybe:devil:

Before I post the final Pictures of Reyna here something I was thinking during read this thread 

I just say this is a FemShep thread - NOT a thread to discuss personal beliefs about Bioware, Dev's and theories. There are far enough threads to do so in the Forums. I think both sides mentioned ther opinions and that should be enough - and no one from one of the two sides will stand back. Thats human nature and clear a fact.
Btw.: I think human faults and failures are very well done in ME - ( Udina, Jacob, Conrad, Ash and Kaidan, the ways Shep can go ). The only thing is - its NOT sugar covered in a Disney ending. Its made from humans with faults, preferences and personal beliefs, too - just remember this. So for sure it CAN NOT fit ALL people, NEVER.

I think it's one of those things that can be really tricky to pull off well. I was playing the game with a few friends, and my friend's first comment when Udina turned "evil" was: "No, that's too easy." Which was an interesting perspective, I thought, because I personally thought we were all just looking forward to somehow vent all the frustrations we had with him throughout the series.
Jacob...it needed more time and space. It just seemed so artificial if Shepard had romanced him, that she'd just sit there in the way she does. I think she'd have gotten very angry or something instead? I was really annoyed about how casual it seemed in-game, especially because I'd specifically picked a Shepard to romance Jacob in ME2 and because he actually said the three little words before the Suicide Mission.
Flaws are tricky, even more so when they seem to be made in a rush.

The only thing I know @Delirious Jedi your statement just proofs my words - beside *it seems* is only a guess. The Word choice you used *it seems* is nothing fix you can only guess what they thought as they created the situation.
Nothing is perfect and Jacob is an ass - I remember Mel got angry about him and was harsh - but - Mission comes first and so she safed his ass. But she refused to speak with him at the Citadel. Its always how you handle a situation in your head, too.

Very true. For example: the way the game handles Liara's romance is, until Cronos Station at least, a big 'meh' for me. But now I started to use those ingame interactions between her and Shepard only as the foundation for how I want them to interact. Ingame, Shepard doesn't really seem to care about being friendzoned by Liara. In my imagination, she was very frustrated by it. In the game, Liara informs her about that distress call immediately after a mission, in my imagination she mentions it on the morning after (because I think that's way more fun). You can't expect the game to handle scenes exactly the way you want, because there's no way it will satisfy everyone. Instead, BioWare gives you a foundation and you have the room to expand on that yourself if you wish to.

Thanks for the nice words about Berlitz' story, by the way.

You know, I don't like the Destroy ending very much myself, but if there's one thing I love about it, than it's the way Shepard walks towards it and shoots at it. I'm glad they decided to use the Carnifex for that and not that standard toy pistol.

And Kaidan is a lucky guy, for getting such a beautiful smile thrown to him.

@ MizzNaaa: Poor Kaidan, getting a migraine just when...  And in terms of artistic design, Feros is probably my favorite level from ME1 (after Ilos, of course). Great screenshots!

@ raziel1980: Allison continues to be awesome.  That last screenshot is great, it really captures the cold hate Shepard must feel for that douchebag Kai-Leng.

@ JamieCOTC: Thank you! I didn't really plan it, but the interactions between Shepard and Liara have become an important part of the story. Of course I can't just ignore the overall story of ME3, but Berlitz' relationship with Liara gives me a way to make the story a bit more personal and unique. I'm glad you like it.

@ SebAusFR: Thank you! And if the special armor is worth it... well, it depends on the class. Inferno Armor (+ 30% Power Recharge Speed, +30% Power Damage) is very useful for an Adept, for example, and a Soldier can make good use of the Cerberus or Defender Armors. But for my Sentinel... it looks good, but the bonuses aren't really optimal. The Blood Dragon Armor, for example, gives you a bonus in Power Recharge Speed, Power Damage and Shield Strenght. The shield strength and recharge speed bonus are nice, but I'd rather change the Power Damage bonus for Weapon Damage bonus. But sadly that isn't possible.

So if you really want your armor bonuses to fit your playstyle (and if you don't care about the looks of the special armor sets), I think you're better of with a costumized set.

This is how i establish a parallel between ME top sniper rifles and what i consider to be their real life counterparts - and their weight:

Widow - a bolt action version of a M06/M99 50BMG at 25lb/12kg
Mantis - a 338 Lupua Magnum at 15kg (i have to double check)
Black Widow - a semi auto version of a 338 Chey Tac at 31lb/14kg

It is not a 100% full proof, it's just how i view it.
