@SebAusFR Hahaha - the flying scene is hilarious awesomness :wizard:
@Rikketik - thx  - good to see I'm not the only one which is handling the game in this way :)
@Saturn Ring - awww.. don't be :kissing: I'm proud of her - she did always of what she believed

Edit.: ToP

Let me introduce Melinda *Mel* Shepard
Infiltrator / Spacer / War Hero
Special Power - Reave
She is a *easy one* - formally LI Jacob. But Samantha caught her at first gaze, though
Mel was always aware that she left Jacob for turning herself in - so she got angry, hurt maybe - but not too much to be called broken hearted.
Anyway - I played her right after Reyna - as a Renegon.
Will throw just some pics in ( not very much ) before it comes to the EC - since I played her before joining this thread.

Nice shots. In the all the pics she looks like a badass who NEVER steps back only forward and does everything to get it done. Then in the last pic you see her sad and really down. Another side from her. ;)

Showing her vulnerable side is something that we can relate to.

I, honestly, cannot keep up with this thread. :) Wonderful femsheps all. Excellent discussion that I don't have anything really to add to. Except for some thoughts on Ashley.

A while back someone (I'm sorry, I can't remember who asked this!) talked about Ashley and Femshep being rivals for Kaidan's affection and how that rivalry (never actually played out but seemingly there) changes their relationship in the future games. If Ashley is the VS, there is also that "you killed my (potential) boyfriend angle.

In Lida's case there was no rivalry for Kaidan. Lida isn't interested in men. But there is still a rivalry between the two women. They are both strong. They have strong opinions. They can kick ass verbally and physically. Ashley has been held back because her last name is Williams while Lida has been promoted and lauded based on merit and luck. Yes, Lida was lucky to survive Akuze. Ashely is unlucky to have a grandfather who surrended to Turians. The rivalry could be based then on jealousy and loss.

When ME3 opens, we find out Ashley's been promoted, largely it seems, based on what she was able to accomplish while on the Normandy with Shepard. As Lida goes through ME3, Ashley seems to have changed. She's very hesitant, distrustful. I have seen Ashley's drunk scene with my boyshep. It was painful to watch to Ashley dive into a bottle instead of showing that backbone she displayed in ME1. I dread going through it again with Lida.

It's possible, Lida may sacrifice Ashley on Virmire in this ME playthrough I'm doing. Just to avoid that scene. I don't know.

Anyways, just my rambly jumbly incoherent thoughts.

The beginning of a beautiful friendship, or not?

Finished off Yoshimi's playthrough last night. There's a lot to say about it, and a lot of pictures to share, and a lot of jokes to make and Shepards to comment on while I figure out what's next. All that can, of course, wait until I get some coffee in me and seize some day.

In the meantime, have one of the few moments that left Yoshimi speechless. I certainly won't be reposting this picture a bajillion times because it makes me d'aww. (That was a joke. I will be.)

The three dot renegon eyes were pretty awesome in this sequence.

That last talk with EDI really picked on me. I was chewing on my arm picking my color for Yoshimi.... She was really close to renegade control, but in the end, I went with "KAIDAN. And dead reapers. But mostly KAIDAN."
Posted Image

@ SebAusFR: Thank you! And if the special armor is worth it... well, it depends on the class. Inferno Armor (+ 30% Power Recharge Speed, +30% Power Damage) is very useful for an Adept, for example, and a Soldier can make good use of the Cerberus or Defender Armors. But for my Sentinel... it looks good, but the bonuses aren't really optimal. The Blood Dragon Armor, for example, gives you a bonus in Power Recharge Speed, Power Damage and Shield Strenght. The shield strength and recharge speed bonus are nice, but I'd rather change the Power Damage bonus for Weapon Damage bonus. But sadly that isn't possible.

So if you really want your armor bonuses to fit your playstyle (and if you don't care about the looks of the special armor sets), I think you're better of with a costumized set.

I almost bought the Cerberus armor, but changed my mind. I'll stick to normal ones for the moment (especiaally if I want to keep my little colours thing going on ^_^)

More screens!

First, the colours Kyla sported for the rescue on Benning. Close to the ones she'll have on Tuchanka, haven't got yet the occassion to got a good screen with those.

Nothing is perfect and Jacob is an ass - I remember Mel got angry about him and was harsh - but - Mission comes first and so she safed his ass. But she refused to speak with him at the Citadel. Its always how you handle a situation in your head, too.

Oh sure, what I meant is I'd just have liked more of a way to react to it. The whole baby conversation on the Citadel afterwards was totally awkward with my Jacob-mancer :pinched:

Hell, I've just done that on Jane. And that whole convo where you comment on understanding the need to want to build a family, him responding you don't, because you'd always love the Normandy more? Even without a Jacob-mance that just makes me cringe, especially considering I'd just told Garrus I'm a one-turian gal. What's the deal with that, you'd think Shepard knows her own mind better then anyone, what does he think he's doing there? Not cool Bioware.

Now I'm still not sure what to do with Joe, though I really still want to play her ><

But when it comes to headcannon, i imagine my Shep wearing something along the lines of this when casually dressed.

Warning. Wall of text follows. I've been away from the thread for a while. Sorry about that. I looked back and noticed that there's a few FemShep questions that I didn't answer and I need to rectify that. Also, I feel bad about not commenting on people's Sheps since mine seem to get great comments, especially Maria. But, I can't go back and write comments for each one. My brain is still angry with me the last time I did that. So, instead I will mention everyone that posted their Shep(s) for any reason whatsoever since the last time I commented just to prove I looked at them. Fair? Here goes...

Ashoken, raziel1980, demos99, CrazyGreggy, LadyAly, Rikketik, SebAusFR, Akari Tenshi, Gilsa, yukidama, Elanor1, meonlyred, JobacNoor, mireisen, NoxJuked, razviolet, merylisk, nranola, Roamingmachine, Ottemis, CrazyRah, Hadeedak, TheMarshal, thompsmt, JamieCOTC, iSpaz, Tup3xi, Lianna sFfalenn, KenLyns, SaturnRing, sagequeen, Jane Shepard, Delerius_Jedi, Obsidian Gryphon, MizzNaaa, and SilverMoonDragon.

Whew. If I missed someone, I'm sorry. I had about 15 pages to go through, so I am bound to miss someone. Just yell at me in a PM if I missed you. I can take it.

My brain may hate me (still), but my conscience is appeased. For now.

The artwork posted is amazing. All of it.

One thing I want to reply to:

Ashoken wrote...

@Syrdeth, thanks for the videos you've been posting. I may never get to see some of this but for you. :)

Thanks for the kind words. That's the sole reason I post them. I couldn't find them on my own, so I filmed my own and posted them so others could see them. :)

On to the questions!

razviolet wrote...

Speaking of coffee--how does your femshep like theirs made?

Maria: Cream and two sugars.
Kendra: Black. The hotter, the better.

Tup3xi wrote...

Here's a little question:
What is your take on Shepard's love instructions to EDI?

Maria: Not in ME3... yet.
Kendra was very uncomfortable with it, especially since she was not encouraging it. Plus, EDI's frankness was a little... off-putting. I may change this in Kendra's NG+, though. We'll see.

LadyAly wrote...

FemShep Question: What did your Shep feel about the Monastery ? What did you decide - with or without Samara ?  And why ?

Well, Samara was not present in Kendra's playthrough, so she had to deal with Samara's daughters herself. At the end, with only Falere left... well, there would be no one left to police her, so there were no survivors at the Monastary. And Kendra felt sick to her stomach afterwords.

I am going to change this in Kendra's replay of the ME trilogy. There is no reason whatsoever to pick Morinth in ME2, so this might play out very differently in ME3 then.

TheMarshal wrote...

For you infiltrators in the crowd, which squaddies do you bring with you for support? Or at least, which do you feel best support the class?

Maria is an Infiltrator, and I still haven't figured out who she'll bring along when I start her ME3 PT. Well, who the second person is, because she'll always bring Garrus. ;) Could be Liara for some biotics. Probably not Ashley or James since that will be "soldier heavy", so to speak, and no biotics. I guess I am still in the "balanced party" mentality that stems all the way from ME1. Probably not Javik, either. Kendra's current NG+ will be my "always bring Javik" PT for the laughs.

Tup3xi wrote...

Another question: Five things others may not know about your Shepard(s).

I love this question and I enjoyed reading other people's answers.

This... this I'm gonna have a lot of fun with. Some of it I already had part of their canon, and part of it I'm gonna make up on the fly right now. Since I like countdowns, I'm gonna be contrarian and do that.

Maria Shepard, Infiltrator, Colonist, War Hero (just in case anyone is wondering):

Posted Image

5. She's allergic to carrots.

4. She may be the Hero of the Skyllian Blitz, but in fact, she was terrified. She only got through it from using the breathing exercises that her father taught her when lining up her shots. She still uses them to keep calm.

3. She and Garrus have a friendly headshot competition while on missions. She's won the most so far.

2. Starting with when she was a teenager, she used makeup to cover up her freckles. When she got to the Normandy SR-2 and saw herself in the mirror for the first time after "waking up", she realized just how stupid and pointless it was. Miranda had left her face without any makeup. It was then that she realized she didn't really care what others think of her looks anyway and left her face bare, except for a little bit of eyeshadow. Because it was the same type and shade her mother used to use.

1. Her first real serious relationship is with Garrus. Read into that what you will.

Kendra Shepard, Vanguard, Colonist, Ruthless:

Posted Image

5. She doesn't like bananas. The ones that the colonists grew on Mindoir just didn't taste quite right to her. Everyone she mentioned this to told her she was crazy and the bananas were just fine.

4. Talitha (from the "I Remember Me" quest in ME1) was actually her neighbor's daughter on Mindoir. Because of this, she made the effort to help her (even if she did it the Renegade way). She was a bit sad that Talitha didn't recogize her.

3. She thinks of Anderson as more like a father to her than her own father was.

2. She has Middle-Eastern ancestors. But, exactly from where has been lost to the sands of time.

1. She purposely does not fix the scars on her face. She feels they are the penance for all the things she has done in her life. She does wonder why no one comments on them, except for Dr. Chakwas. *thinks for a moment* New headcanon! People *DO* comment on them... behind her back. They are too afraid to say anything about them to her directly.

draken-heart wrote...

how would all fem!Shepard players react if she was offered the human Council Seat? How would you want your Shepard's LI to react?

Maria: Can I get back to you on that? (That's her nice way of saying she'll find a polite way to turn it down later.)
Garrus: Hrm. "Councilor Shepard". Has a nice ring to it.
Maria: Kinda like "Primarch Vakarian"?
Garrus: Let's not go there.

Kendra: **** off!!
Kaidan: You sure you don't want to consider it?
Kendra **** no!! The thought of it makes me violently ill! *looks at Kaidan's shoes*
Kaidan: Uh... okay...

SebAusFR wrote...

Actually I do have a question. In the control ending (both paragon and renegade), if you have cured the Genophage and Wreav is the Krogan leader, it seems that there's a risk that he starts a war (especially if Eve dies). Do you think that  God-Shepard use the Reapers threat to stop that?

I think she would. Especially Renegade. She does explicity state that she will destroy those who threaten the future of the many. So, if Wreav tried to take on the Turians and Salarians, she'd smite them down with her Reaper army. Hard.

chevyguy87 wrote...

Take the dialogue in the first half of refusal (where we tell Space Hitler to go pound sand) but before the little glowy bastard pulls a vanishing act, Desiree shoots the control panel thing and begins the Reaper destruction sequence. But Desiree was smart and had EDI stealthily upload the Reaper Code fragment into the Crucible, and all the Reapers and ONLY the Reapers die.

*files the bolded away somewhere and then whistles innocently*

I'll do a separate post about how I did the EC ending(s) later. This post is long enough as it is.

Ahhh, the Jacob romance.  Another lost in translation moment in ME3. And femshep practically groveling for his affection is ... well, it isn't good. I know what they were trying to do, that not every romance ends happily in war, but it just fell so flat.

It would have been nice to see the stores carrying more clothing options. Almost every playthrough results in a pluthora on unused credits because I have nothing to really spend them on. lol
