Femka is awesome. I think she looks like better as Galaxy savier than maile Shepherd.

1. Who is Maile Shepherd?

2. If you meant Male Shepard, you are wrong, because there is no Shepard better at looking like galaxy savior than others. Everyone's Shepard is fit for the role simply because they are Shepard.

@SaturnRing I actually think that's why femShep turned out so well. I mean look how typical Mass Effect females changed from ME1 to ME2 (think Ashley and Liara vs Miranda, Jack, Samara...) I frankly couldn't take it if they paid more attention to femshep in ME2 and did the same they did to Ash in ME3 to her. :)

That was my biggest fear with Bioware paying more attention to femShep. They would alter her appearance to be more "feminine" and "sexy" and give her gear drastically different from manShep simply because she was female.

The default is certainly attractive, but fierce and powerful looking.

You make a good point. Personal gratification took a hit for that lack of attention. But femshep did gain a lot in substance. Still i want more attention paid to what makes her unique. But you're right  in the sense that she can't be accused of being shallow - not that Miranda , Jack or Samara are...

I like your thinking!!!
There's a clear danger along with more attention; what i wanted was more like her treatment in ME 1 (  sitting down wearing a dress; not necessarly more feminine animations - just something to reduce clipping ). The gorilla walk makes sense after being totally rebuilt. But it ceases to be relevant when it is not supported by cutscenes.
I'm fine if the option of being sexier is left for the player to decide (cc settings).

Yeah, they still gave her the Shep-can-put-boots-to-backside look to not make her a typical cheerleader look (aka Miranda). In a way, it makes for her to be more powerful as a character to me having that bad look on the face. lol

But default FemHawke was the first time ever in any game I thought default was better than anything in the creator (minus some great work by the mod community of course). I see a repeat of that.

In Miranda's defense looking the way she does is part of her arsenal. Her look won't make me dismiss her. Although if i had a saying she wouln'd be wearing that outfit.

@Hyper,
Probably not. She is the last one I can make before ME3. Next I'm going to do Zody's 'last' run through ME1 and 2. Since she is canon I want all her choices and actions to be fresh in my mind. It's the first thing I plan to do on my new computer! :devil:

Awww yeaaahhhh! I want to hear new computer squeel soon!

Those with zillion Shepards to import (I mean looks - as you might know I use two sheps but change classes and stuff like that), how can you cope with that? I'd go nuts.

I think part of the confusion with "What, you be be a woman?" in ME2 is that you choose male or female without seeing either at the start of the game.

In ME1, you can pick John - whoever THAT is - or you can go to custom make. As soon as you do that, you see that quick-start or custom bit, and you actually see John or Jane standing there. Made it pretty darn apparent to the player that you can play as a woman and she IS shepard, just as the man version is.

edit: this screen, I mean ^

With ME2, I imagine a lot of people just hit 'male' in the 'choose your new game sections' and then went on without ever trying to play a woman. In that direction, you never see femshep, never think about using the female avi - also, if you didn't import, you never see kaidan ever. I remember that first screenshot release of him, shep, and liara, a bunch of people were like 'is that vega?' since they had never met him.

I'm familiar with one of your Shep. What the second one looks like?

Since I'm up to 12 different Shepards, I actually wrote some of their stuff down to keep it straight in my head.  The nice thing is the more I play them, the more defined they become.  All have their own quirks and personalities.  Some definitely take priority over others.  My first few Sheps (including my canon), will definitely get played more often.

I get addicted to making characters for some reason.  I did the same thing in Dragon Age: Origins.  I think I had maybe 6-7 wardens in that game.

:?  Don't judge me!

Well, it's probably not a huge surprise that I have difficulties to start another warden in DA:O... I still need to actually finish the awakening. My playthrough kinda halted when my HDD had a tantrum, I lost some play progress.

I don't blame you. I'm actually kicking myself for not writing what I did for each Shepard. I completed my main/canon Shepard a few months ago and for the life of me cannot remember what I did about Legion's geth.

I hope there is a recap screen at the start of ME3. :huh:

@MizzNaaa: Pretty fem Shep! :D

@fem Shep thread: I'm really happy that fem Shep is getting unique animations again (her ME1 walk was perfect!), but I do hope that they don't get too over the top like in DA2. The fem Hawke strut drove me up the wall. I felt like she was one wrong step away from throwing out her back.

I have no issue with Fehawke's walk. Jo Wyatt's musical voice and approach to the character makes her seem very "girly". I thought the walk suited her perfectly. Even if it was a little bit too much, I won't complain about it in a world where Femshep walks like she did in Mass effect 2. I found myself having to RP that the walk was NOT HAPPENING. Ha ha.

I feel the same way, but I only have 6.

I think ME is the only game where I don't have multiple Shepards...Origins I have a male and female for almost all of the origins and DAII I have just a ton of AUs for two Hawkes. It seems weird to me to make someone new in ME since I just like to, as I said, imagine my default in AU timelines.

Also, butt crack armor <3
