I agree and it makes sense as it matches Kaidan and James armor - like ELE said. Shepard should definitely have it available in her/his locker. Maybe future dlc.

Yes. A thousand times yes. I would never wear anything else again, in the same way I don't allow Kaidan and James to use their other suits.

I believe they announced singeplayer DLC (or was it leaked?) and the one thing I want that DLC to give me (well, two things really) is more guns and more outfits, either casual or armor. I won't even deny it: I'm just jealous of multiplayer, all those characters in badass armor and badass weapons that we can't wear in singeplayer.

@ Ottemis: Dunno if I really see Shepard as a mother figure for EDI, but I get where you're coming from. That last talk with her, in London, when she tells you that Shepard's influence has made her feel alive... of course, Berlitz didn't know it yet, but I had already chosen for Destroy so that kinda made me feel like an incredible jerk.

And yeah, I had the same feeling: I wanted to pick Destroy; hell, I wanted to pick it during my previous playthrough. Back then I chickened out and picked Synthesis instead, so this time I constantly told myself: this isn't about my own choice, it's about the choice Berlitz would make. She cared about EDI, but she cared even more about destroying the Reapers. Furthermore, she wholeheartedly expected that she herself would die too, so it wasn't even about choosing herself over a friend and an entire species. So that makes it a bit easier to rationalize.

Ah, dammit. Well, I hope there's SP DLC in the pipeline and that it will give us new customization options.

I also think I'm going to play ME2 tonight: I still need to buy that shuttle replica for in my cabin (that empty spot has been bugging me for months) and I still have a nice save file that hasn't done Arrival yet.

Like I mentioned earlier this week, I started a new playthrough and here are my first pics.

About my Shepard:
Her name is Jane. She is a colonist from Mindoir, a War Hero and fougth during the Blitz and hold off the Batarian raiders. She is a paragon..always looking for the best solution and helping people where ever she can. I only choose renegade in appropriate times (like I would do it in real). For now I say nothing about her LI
I "imported" her face from my ME2 Jane because I love how she looks in ME2 and wanted to know how she will look in ME1. Pretty sweet, I think.

Jane's journey starts now.

Her first time on Eden Prime and always focused on the mission


After the events on Eden Prime and the vision and warnings about the Reapers she is still looks a little dizzy and confused.


Talking to Avina and things about the Citadel. I hope she won't fall asleep.


Side quest's on the Citadel. Don't mess with Jane AI.

Shepard: "Knock, knock"
AI: "Who's there!?"
Shepard: "JUSTIN"
AI: "Justin who?
Shepard: "Just in time!!!"   *Rogue AI disabled*

Time to visit Fist and get that information about Saren.

looks like Fist got fisted.

Since each figure apparently gets two weapons each, I wonder which of the last two N7 weapons she'll get: the Hurricane SMG or the Crusader shotgun?
(since the John Shepard figure gets the Valkyrie assault rifle and Eagle heavy pistol)

Yes, it is totally on par. And in the effort of completeness, here's the Renegade version. Skip to 7:38 for Hale. Equally creepy and awesome at the same time. Makes Control very tempting, IMHO.

I so want that statue and I so want that armor for my FemShep(s). The ones everyone has been quoting.

I purposely set it up so she would catch him. I love having her catch her LI. Any other game in existance, it would be him catching her. But, not Mass Effect. That's why I love this game.

And great montage! It's already a special scene, but it gets even better when you manage to catch your LI. I'm curious though, how does the game decide which squad mate you're going to catch? Is it the order in which you pick them (on the select squad screen) or something else entirely? I've never been able to figure that out.

As for myself, well, I completed Arrival tonight. God, that Kenson woman is annoying. And dumb. Who the hell is going to study a Reaper artifact without taking the necessary precautions? *sigh* Oh well, a few screenshots of my little playthrough:







Ah, she's so pretty... A shame I haven't been able to import her looks correctly. I doubt I ever will, given the fact that her haircut has become unavailable in ME3 on the consoles.

Ayla Shepard
- Colonist
- War Hero
- Vanguard
- Forification

Apparently Ayla is a pretty common name in some countries, but it isn't in mine. How did I come up with it then? Well, I named her after Ayla from Chrono Trigger, another strong (literally!) videogame heroine. The Ayla from Chrono Trigger is a cavewoman who fights with her fist and Ayla Shepard is a Vanguard who also is going to fight with her fists. Charge and smash, mixed up with (shot)gunplay here and there. Dunno if it will work, but if not then I just respec for the standard Charge + Nova (+ shotgun) gameplay.

Haven't completely developed her personality yet, but what I have in mind is a more lighthearted, ditzy Shepard. I intend to develop her character by writing about her, just as with Berlitz. The only difference is that I won't be describing everything anymore. Everyone already knows how the missions go anyway.

Fun fact: Ayla is my first Femshep that doesn't use face shape number 7. Instead, I've chosen for 5, which seems to make her features a little bit sharper. I like it. The difference is subtle but notable.

 I caved and bought Mass Effect on PC. Attempt to recreate my 'canon' Genevieve, been on XBOX since the beginning. 




Marine staring at Commander Shepard, who accidentally realized the mouse scroll draws weapons, and then frantically trying every button on keyboard to find 'holster'.



Caught her staring at Nihlus' backside... though strangely enough she's been a Kaidan-shipper for three whole playthroughs on console.



I'm liking the whole screenshot thing. You can only use flycam in ME2 right?

Generally it's the squadmate you choose second. If the icon is on the right side, then that's the one you're going to catch. If you reload the game and the icon switches spots, then whoever is on the right is the new person you catch. There's a nifty analysis on creating this kind of outcome.
