Swedish Noomi Rapace would make a good Femshep...

Yep, she looks like the cover shep.

But if someone ever decides to make a Mass Effect movie, I think they should open auditions to actors of any appearance, and maybe have the original voice actors on the evaluation panel.

Prometheus would be a good sample reel for Noomi, though.

Regarding the ME movie (if it´s ever going to happen), my stance on it is pretty simple.

No Hale = no interest....

Is it just weapons? No armors or anything? Because I don’t think it’s possible for me to be any less excited about weapons…

So, RL has been kicking me in the quad. Hopefully, it will die down after August. I've tried my best to keep up with this thread (read the rest this morning), but there's just too much to comment on. Sorry. I did read every post and look at every pic. Every single one. You all have great Shepards.

@sagequeen: Kyrie looks awesome with her ME1/2 hairstyle back. Also, I'm partial to the Rosenkov/Kestral Armor, if that helps. I would have had Kendra wearing it, but I couldn't find all the pieces in my first playthrough. She ended up wearing a mishmash of everything, and ironically, none of it was Rosenkov:

I will definitely be switching this up in her NG+ run, swapping out the ammo and weapon damage bonuses for power recharge and/or power damage bonuses. Being a Vanguard, she rarely used her guns after a while.

No long post this time, but I leave you with this. Kaidan meleeing a Marauder. :D

Please, NO ManShep/Fem Shep or Jennifer Hale/Mark Meer bashing here.

Dragon_Claw,

Imma let you finish, but feel I just have to be a stick-up-arse (AKA Turian) here. Quite a few of us here play manSheps as well as femSheps and prefer not to have the one praised at the expense of the other. I, for one, have definitely not dismissed any male Shepards, and supporters of female Shepard should not be encouraged to do so either.

Thanks! B)

Just weapons and therefore feel the same way.

oh, hey, one thing i found that i had not tried before and MAN does it really make a difference is to change the normal mapping if you're using complexion #3. makes shepard's skin look much more glowy:

(snip)
this is from the masseffect2 faces 'guide' to modding :

Under the Textures, change the following:

HED_Norm >>becomes>> BIOG_HMF_HED_PROMorph_R.PROShepard.HMF_PROShepard_Face_Norm
HED_Norm_02 >>becomes>> BIOG_HMF_HED_PROMorph_R.PROShepard.HMF_HED_PROSheppard_Face_Norm_Stack
HED_Scalp_Norm >>becomes>> BIOG_HMF_HED_PROMorph_R.PROShepard.HMF_HED_PROShepard_Scalp_Norm

and then manually add in the following (by hitting the 'add' button at the bottom of the gibbed list):

HED_Scalp_Mask

and set the value to BIOG_HMF_HED_PROMorph_R.PROShepard.HMF_HED_PROShepard_Scalp_Spec

Also  from Vhalkyrie's blog guide to Gibbed:

Under the scalars, look for:

"HED_SPwr_Scalar: Increases skin glow more like ME2.  My starting value was 2.5.  10 is a bit high here, so experiment with values in between.  I've settled on 5 for my current version."

I had done this with my Shep in ME2 (well, used the normal for complexion one and the texture for complexion 3). Playing around with that sort of stuff does make a lot of difference, especially since while I like complexion 3, I was never fond of the slight plasticky look it always had in my opinion. I kinda want to go in and play around with the settings in ME3, though I don't actually want to play the game in the least (not even the new dlc, and I'm still kind of annoyed they're charging for the guns they gave MP for free)...

Silly quesion, but which of the codes from the facecode stands for complexion? I can't access ME3 at the moment but i have the facecode, I'm not sure which complexion I have used. Must verify before modding ;)

First block the three values in order are for:
- Facial Structure
- Skin Tone
- Complexion

this. So, for example, if your facecode's first 3 numbers are 743, then you're face shape 7, complexion darkness of 4 (default skin tone), and complexion 3. This only applies to complexion 3. However, almost no one uses 2 (with good reason. sadly, it's hard to use effectively). many folks use 3 (i do, for example), but it didn't get a very nice normal map for ME3. using that alternative normal mapping makes complexion 3 work better with the lighting in me3.

Yep Femshep has a smirk when ever she has her gun out. A nice detail I love about the game. I have been playing Skyrim a lot since Dawnguard come out and have gotten a lot of artsy flycam screen shots but I noticed that Dovahkiin is very uncanny valley when she is fighting. I guess they don't really count on you looking at your characters face. Mass Effect on the other hand you get shots like these:

Its the small things that count.

And in case you care: Artsy Skyrim Screenshots, yay!

I've noticed that sort of smirk and other facial expressions the few times I hit players only in a battle.

(Edit: Or this weekend I'll make even less progress because I'll be trying for reload screenshots and more looking around cover screentshots instead of rescuing Archangel, etc.)

Cool. Skyrim puts an emphasis on how rough it's world and characters are. It is beautiful...in a rough kind of way.

It's seven of the weapons from multiplayer added to the single-player campaign. The bright side for me was that, like the Spectre weapons from the collector edition, if you buy it you have them all as soon as it has finished downloading. I'd been wishing that Hannah could have the geth Plasma SMG for awhile now, so I'm happy.

Actually, it's five MP weapons and two new ones.  Just for the record and stuff. =]
