Quite a few of us here play manSheps as well as femSheps and prefer not to have the one praised at the expense of the other. I, for one, have definitely not dismissed any male Shepards, and supporters of female Shepard should not be encouraged to do so either.

First block the three values in order are for:
- Facial Structure
- Skin Tone
- Complexion

this. So, for example, if your facecode's first 3 numbers are 743, then you're face shape 7, complexion darkness of 4 (default skin tone), and complexion 3. This only applies to complexion 3. However, almost no one uses 2 (with good reason. sadly, it's hard to use effectively). many folks use 3 (i do, for example), but it didn't get a very nice normal map for ME3. using that alternative normal mapping makes complexion 3 work better with the lighting in me3.

Thanks for the details! Kyla's first values are 753, so I can try your trick sagequeen, let's hope it works better here too . Now, if only my thesis would let me seat at my laptop long enough to start ME3... <_<

The graphics are really so different they've taken me a while to get used to - and it took me forever to get Kyrie looking right. But once I did, MAN is this game gorgeous.

And a Shep since I haven't been posting much. She's not mine, but I made her. My brother is playing her on my PC, he's not big on customization so I made a Shep for him.

It was a little too long to post here, so I used the site's blog thingy to post Kacey's backstory:



Kacey Shepard

Early life: Keeley Connor Shepard was born April 11, 2154 on the planet Mindoir, the second child of James and Hannah Shepard.  Her older brother, Kellen James Shepard, had never been especially fond of the name “Kellen” and went by KJ, instead… and because she idolized him, Keeley followed his lead and demanded everyone call her KC.  As she got a little older “KC” became “Kacey”, and by the time she joined the military she was so used to “Kacey” that signing “Keeley” on official documents made her feel like she was filling out someone else’s paperwork (she just initialed as many things “K.C.S.” as she could).  In fact, the only thing that kept her from having it legally changed was that it was the name her parents had given her, and by then it was one of the few things she had left of them.

@sagequeen: Kyrie definitely looks fantastic in ME3.  I referred often to the guide you'd written while I was tweaking Kacey, so I know how much time you spent 'fixing' her.  Definitely paid off.

@raziel1980: Gianna might be blonde and beautiful, but I bet she never has trouble with anyone not taking her seriously.

ty all. @ WEC, yeah, takes a while to gibbed tweak stuff, but is sure worth it. I found that my temptation was to mess with the facecode - ended up with a shep that *worked*, but really didn't look like my shep anymore. key was the coloring, actually. it's really off in ME3, so the coloring was the trick to getting the look right.

hermmm.... may do another blog post on that.

As much as I love the ME series the character creation of Femshep has always been difficult to work with, I tried all the modding tricks to adjust this or that like most of us have done but found it tedious, I finely created a Femshep from just the game creator that I found I liked alot.
