Thank you! Because she's on Sur'Kesh and Wrex is lurking about and ... the joke fizzled due to post editing.
That's not a problem I have.Ashoken wrote...
Haha. Tup and I must've posted at the same time.Tup3xi wrote...

They changed the way the friend's list is displayed. There's a button at the top right next to your user name to click to see it. Took me a moment to find it. Otherwise, I haven't had any trouble.

She's Rachel Shepard, my first attempt at playing an Adept (NG+ here).

Indeed. Actually, many people are perhaps too trusting when it comes to Shepard after she was revived by Cerberus. We know she's clean, but in-universe characters cannot, so the VS interrogations are well-placed. Especially when Shep and Cerberus are always crossing paths... Like on Mars, on during the coup. I'm actually surprised TIM hasn't a Xanatos Gambit running in the game. He's the perfect villain for this type of plans. @SebAusFR: it is just so annoying from Shepard perspective to be second guessed. Objectively it makes sense to expect something along the lines of a Xanatos Gambit from TIM. Virmire survivor could be pretty much playing russian roulette by trusting Shepard.
The bonus are sweet... You are some sort of god of war in the intro and Mars in a NG+ if you play on normal difficulty. That was too easy so I switched to hardcore. Not in the mood of trying insanityAshoken wrote...
NG means New Game. NG+ means New Game using a save where you've finished the game so you get some bonuses. Plus!

It still isn't really... about half of my friends are missing and the number seems to change a bit each time I log in. Now it's one less than last time.Ashoken wrote...

I would also have liked to see how her familly (if any remaining) react to the whole "rebuilt from dead" thing. It would be easy to argue that ME2-3 FemShep is not ME1 FemShep but a "copy".

This is the reason i'm somewhat disappointed with TIM's character treatment in ME3. I thought indoctrination was the easy way out.
I can understand why he would'nt have some kind of safe guard against Shepard though: i guess in my head "restraining" her would just be like having another Kai Leng at his disposal ( assuming that KL doesn't possess free will) - and TIM needed something more than just an assassin. Although a programmed Shepard slowly recovering her senses and freedom is an attractive idea too. Or even a clone.
Exactely! Weird how those feedbacks also affect how we(Shepard) stand on certain issues.sagequeen wrote...
I agree. I found TIM went from the anti-mentor (like magneto!) to stock badguy in five seconds flat in ME3. It was really sad to me, since he was such an AMAZING villian/or-is-he-really-a-villian before.
I also agree about the VS. much as I love all the other squaddies and their loyalty was touching, the VS's response was the only one that actually made much sense to me. i think it's a pity that there were not more people in the middling reaction to shepard. everyone else is like 'it's you and you're awesome!' the council is like 'it's you and we don't like you much' and only the VS is like...'uh, is that you?' as a result, they come off as mean or something, but really, i think they're just being realistic.

I thought the ‘change’ was extremely fitting. Any means necessary sounds like a great idea (I guess?) until you pick the wrong means. If you play with fire etc. TIM’s indoctrination is consistently foreshadowed; it’d have wasted that entire storyline, too.

Thank you! She's seriously so amazing. What's her story?
It made sense, but it bothered me how often they felt the need to voice it. "I don't know who you're working for," "I don't know if I can trust you," "For all I knew Cerberus turned you into a husk," etc. I can understand them feeling that way, but I wish they'd kept it to themself--I think Shepard had earned at least the illusion of trust by that point (especially if she/he is in a relationship with the VS). Watch Shepard closely, sure, and be ready to act if she/he does something seriously questionable/OOC, but until then just lay off a bit, wouldya? Like Shepard doesn't already have enough things to be worrying about. (But obviously, while that would work in a novel where you could get into their head and know what they were thinking, I guess that silent wariness is a lot harder to get across in a VG. Too bad--speaking their mind really doesn't do anything to make me like them better.)sagequeen wrote...

Using bits from Sage's guide, I started over w/ UJ. I originally made her lips too thick when I first modded her. Now she looks better than ever!
Thanks for this, Sage. I'm going to try this with Maria. I did do the eyelid tweaking to fix the clipping some time ago, but I'm afraid I messed up something else doing that. There's something just not quite "right" about her, I can't put my finger on it. The good thing is, anything that works on Maria will work on Kendra since they share the same face. I'll be sure to post my results here.sagequeen wrote...
Amazing shepards. wow. love the traynor daydream, esp.
So after posting those notes on the scalar tweaks, I figured I ought to put up a more in-depth blog post on re-creating custom shepard.
...And it got huge. with pictures. But all the relevant info I can think of is in there
More Thoughts on Modding
And now I feel like I can finally say that Kyrie is 'the same' Shepard through all 3 games.
