I bet dollars to donuts there will be a vehicle DLC at some point.
Anyway, I tried Sage's norm fix again and ran around to check it out in different lighting environments... and I think I might actually be sold on it after all, hahaha.
Here are the results:

Thanks! And yep, I totally agree and know what you mean. If only Mass Effect had a "showracemenu" console hack like Skyrim or Fallout does. Or a Black Emporium (which was DLC, right? Oh man I would DIE if they made a similar Mass Effect DLC). Or hell, even if you could just change Shep's hairstyle and make-up in the armor locker. How rad would that be??? But, I bet enough people just play with Sheploo that it's probably never going to happen.sagequeen wrote...
AWESOME. she looks great!
also with the makeup - i often wish that one could give Shepard a battle/offduty look to go with the armor/casuals. ELE sort of faked that with caroline and her beret in battle, hair down when not. would love to do that without extensive modding. 'cause i agree with what you say about the professionalism...i just don't see a lot of sheps putting on make up to go to tuchanka and fight maws. to go deal with the dalatross, probably, but not the maws.
...at least not most shepards, i guess.

Holy crap, it costs that much?! Never freaking mind. I would drop the money if they did what Blizzard did and allows you to buy your character as a statue. I would probably give up to $200 for something like that but $65 is to much for Someone Else's Shepard. Might get a squadie action figure if they make one of Kaidan or Thane. Doubt they will make them into action figure since "Kaidan isn't popular enough" and "Thane who?" <_<AVPen wrote...
Not sure if it was announced here yet, but the FemShep figure from Play Arts can now be preordered from vendors like ToyWiz (the figure ships in December): http://www.toywiz.co...pardfemale.html
Looks like she comes with the N7 Valiant, the N7 Hurricane, and an attachable omni-blade for accessories.

@Sinapus, I can't remember the huge hologram thingy. Is it from ME2 ?

Huh... yeah.... that's weird.
Okay, I'm just going to point out that the FIRST time I tried that modding hack, it TOTALLY didn't work. but then it did the second time. I'm trying to remember what i did differently. I *think* I failed to add in the additional mask field - like, I only replaced the normal mapping and not any of the other stuff. that didn't work. I really had to replace ALL the relevant fields and put in the additional normal mask .... oh, and I bumped up the HED_SPwr_Scalar <--- that reacted a lot better to the new normal than it did to the old normal.
But hey, it may not work for everyone. I just know of the Shepards I've seen it often can make a difference. but it's not like i've tested it on...anyone but kyrie.
APB:Reloaded allows you to do that. See this video, jumps at the 5 minutes mark to see the character customisation menu. A female character is also shown from about 12 minutes in. EDIT: another one just about customisation and without annoying voice-over...sagequeen wrote...
and yes, i wanted a black-emporium-type-mirror-thingy for femshep also. of course.....i would have just stuck with the original facecode and modded everything in gibbed.
in fallout new vegas, one thing i LOVED was that they actually gave you RGB sliders in the CC for haircolor. i mean, bam, right there. pick a style, then make a color. they had presets, of course - ginger, auburn, champange blonde - awesome stuff. but then you could tweak it. i don't imagine it would be all that difficult to do that in the CC.
but then, i'm all for as MUCH customization to characters as is reasonably possible. ...and then probably stuff that ISN'T reasonably possible. see, i'm still waiting for the game that lets me set athleticism of the body build and height and and and and
and....
Yes, she does look better, but it's less obvious than on Sagequeen's Shep. We'll see what happen when I touch up the scalar value... hope it doesn't screw her too much :innocent:.raziel1980 wrote...
@SebAusFR : Yes, yes they did....though really it was collector's fault for killing Shepard and pissing her off even more! [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/love.png[/smilie] Also : from what I can tell Kyla looks slightly darker and more lifelike in the second picture after you a little gibb modding.

Hmm, I don't recall seeing that.

Although I can attest that my 8 y/o daughter's Barbie likes our Big Fish manShep (my wife had a geek-gasm and forced me to buy it when we saw it in a mall) a lot more than her Ken (wearing designer duds; had to be imported for her) even if he is not quite as tall. So there you have it!AVPen wrote...
^ The Thane figure that you're looking at isn't a Play Arts figure - it was made by a different company (Big Fish, I believe) and I can attest that it doesn't have anywhere near the detail or posability of a Play Arts figure... <_<

Perhaps, but then again, no matter what dazzling outfits he may be sporting, Ken will never be better than Commander Shepard.Kyrene wrote...
