@Tup3xi I guess I'm semi excited, more time with Shepard and her crew is good, though It may have to wait till the next play through. Regarding EDI I wish she would wear her combat uniform on-board the ship, might be a bit better.

@JamieCOTC I agree with you on the future of ME and Shepard, it will be awhile untill I'm done with Shepard, and I don't think we'll see a character like her for a while if again.

What is that?

About ME: it has always been about Femshep/Shepard for me too - and the way ME world was presented IN the first 2 games - though to a lesser degree...I do however miss characters such as Thane...
I never was really excited about MP ( it is good nonetheless) cause i had the feeling it was a direction shift from Bioware and that it would take away from SP - i think it did for ME3. I hope i'm wrong(about the direction change). I don't think i can ever be as invested in a game the way i was for ME1 and ME2. I still believe in Bioware.
 Maybe it is time to move on. I just don't want to...

Hey guys just a heads up, Leviathan comes out tomorrow. For those of you who are on the fence about the DLC and don't know if they want to waste any more money with Bioware; I'm Live Streaming the DLC tomorrow at about 4:30 est (-5 GMT). I will be playing my main, Zody Shepard Paragon/Kaidanmancer/Adept. It might not be your Shepard but hopfully it will give you the idea weather or not you want to dish out the money. I will also be preplaying the end to see what changes (if any) the game adds to the end.

@Red - Will see if I can hop on the stream, I grabbed some BW points 2 weeks ago in readiness for Leviathan (also bought the weapon pack too) so I'm getting it either way, but would be good to see what it's like (though not all of it, don't want it spoiled ).

I've recently got back into Mass Effect. I'm working on Esperanza's new game plus insanity run. With her bestie, the claymore.

I may try to write fics to go along with.... Wow, Gilberto's avatar is creeping me out seriously.

Liara's a sweetheart, don't get me wrong. But I seriously prefer Overload (buffed to Neural Shock!) and Reave. Reave + EVERYTHING = awesome

...and this isn't a power that unlocks for the entire game like in ME2, right? I have to have each Shepard gain it via conversations?

Eeep... none of my biotic Sheps saved Kaidan in ME1.

 

it unlocks for the game, yeah. I just have a specific playstyle i prefer which relies on shep using barrier + default adept crowd-control skills. i bring people to deal with shields, barriers, armor, etc. and Kaidan has stuff to deal with all that, plus he's a freaking tank and pretty much never dies. he and shep are still running around when the other squaddies goes down. 

*rethinks policy of not making major changes via Gibbed....*

it's barrier, ya know. it GLOWS.



HAWT. Am I the only person who thinks barrier looks super hawt? Hmmmm.... Barrrierrrr....

Definitely rethinking that policy.

@laikabaws: AWESOME femsheps...love the looks of them ALL!  It seems you always romance Kaiden...well, for the most part( 6 soon to be 7 of my 10 femsheps) I romance Garrus! But that's mostly because I prefer his romance and he reminds me ALOT of myself...especially when speaking with women! 

@LadyAly : Kayleigh is ME 2!!!! She looks so cute and awesome and adorable! <3

@ the release of Leviathan : I'm excited...going to try n play it tommorrow after downloading after work. I have 3 characters who have completed to game who do it in a post game/pre-cronos base type in Allison, Gianna, and Selena...and Gabby, Denise, Amelia,Stacia, Claire, and Natalia will have included in their playthroughs!

One good thing about being on PC is that I'll get to read reviews of the DLC before it comes out. I'll probably buy it, but I'm not incredibly excited over it. Spending time w/ Shepard and her crew again is great, but that's as far as it goes. As for the rain, I'd be more impressed w/ it if Shepard and crew actually got wet while standing around in it.

About playing ME - I NEED a story and a well lined out game with decisions. I refuse to play MP just about  - If I want a strategy MMO I go play LoL or LotRo or whatever.  Counts for me too that I have only a few hrs. time anyway ( like sage ).
