@ladyAly and Ashoken Thanks guys :kissing::kissing::kissing: Happy Sheps are happy
@sagequeen I love barrier so much. All my Sheps have it since ME2. It's needed gameplaywise for me, but I can't help but admire its...err sexiness

As for Leviathan, the only reason why I'm excited is for the character interactions, and that says alot (regarding my disdain for ME3). I used to be excited for ME's DLCs for gameplay, lore, but yeah...ME3 was disappointing haha. And I also share the same sentiment for all games being action-oriented, graphics-oriented and multi-player-oriented. It's like they're already out of ideas (saturation?)...and it's frightening (I'm looking at you "survivor horror" games).

@JamieCOTC I too have an attachment for Shepard. My major issue with the ending was how alienated Shepard was from it (apart from the auto-dialogue); I played ME for Shepard and for my fascination with her story only, yet it seems ME3 (or at the very least, its ending) tried its best to do away with that <_<

Anyway for traveling in space question,
Main: Being a spacer, she was always fascinated with outer space. She wanted to explore on her own though, and not be merely cooped up in ships or remain in the military ambiance. Space-faring for her is a new experience and feeds her inclination towards acquiring all sorts of new knowledge. She wants to give back to the galactic community--to better the new sights she partakes in, in her own way.
Cloe: She's a spacer too, but she remains neutral with all the space-faring hype. If traveling doesn't serve her any purpose, she wouldn't bother with it at all. As Javik once told her, there are dark things lurking in space; she'd know better than to fall into the ideation of the unknown and she'd know better than to expect so much from aliens, when she doesn't already expect so much from humans afterall.
Freya: She'd always had high hopes for space, being earthborn. However, unlike my main, she sees space as her salvation from the hellhole she regarded as Earth. She wants to escape; she wants to be free from human scum. She often fancied if things were better with aliens, if their cultures were better, and if they would accept someone lost as her. All these were wrong of course when she finally enlisted, which became the root of her current hateful and bitter self--her only ideation and hope as a child flung back to her face. Currently she'd laugh at her pathetic self for wishing such things.

@raz Thank you so much  Glad you like Garrus as much as I like Kaidan. We just can't help it, can we? ^_^ As for me, all 7 of my Sheps romances Kaidan, but Freya has an alternate playthrough where she gets to romance Garrus  Yeah, I have a very static mode of playing my Sheps haha~
As for Gabby, very nice transition to ME3! Congrats :wizard: I like that haircut and lipstick on her ^_^

@Hadeekak I love your Shep! She's very pretty and unique-looking. Not many can pull off that genuine Asian look~ Nice to see her back

Will post my Sheps after this loooooooooong text post haha~ Sorry didn't mean to be texty, you guys are fast (and very nice too) =]

Edit: Didn't mean to top either...what's up with my topping threads these days

@Tup3xi Thanks :D Any Shep is just too cute when they grin (crooked grin? Mix of smug, embarrassment, happiness, and trying to keep it together?)

Excited to see more of Tiia's adventures (more husk lap-dancing maybe? Kidding haha) :3

No husk-lap...but that second shot is nice! It looks very artsy. In the first shot though, she has a cute side angle. And I like her armor; it's very consistent with the color scheme you have of her since ME1 :3

@Seb : great blog and awesome pics of Kyla as always!

Thanks ^_^ Next episode will cover Sanctuary (a Citadel stop too maybe?), and then I guess I'll be ready to play Kyla again through the endgame (Cerberus + Earth).

Mmh... seems like I'll have to go to bed without Leviathan. Damn you Australia for being so far ahead of everyone...

Thanks! Yeah... No husk-lap this time. :P Shepard's not too fond of husks that come a wee bit too close

I like to keep the colouring scheme similar is possible across the games. ;)

I'm mainly excited for Leviathan because it'll give me an excuse to play Anja through some new content and take some screenshots of her face with all the new tweaks I've made since the EC, hahahaha

re: gibbed editing in Kaidan: Obviously, I'm pretty partial to Kaidan, but I do find him hella useful as a squaddie. for an adept, particularly, sentinel is my go-to wingman. miranda was lovely, but i do prefer kaidan. (reave!)

though, for dialog purposes (and to test out combos for science), I'm going to try bringing new combos of people on the missions, maybe even doing the missions a few times through.

speaking of which, anyone have a particular squaddie you'd recommend trying? I never took Javik or EDI anywhere, for example. Ought to try that, I guess.

To share a few pics, got one that reminded me a lot of one of the first flycam shots i took in me1:

Leviathan is up, by the way.

Oh yeah, Palaven moon really does weird tricks to hair colour, Tiia suffered the same. To be honest, I don't think that the graphics are much better in ME3. Better artwork and smaller environments mostly.

ME1 pics, just because.

Just to be clear, I didn't say the graphics were better. I said they were changed - and I have a better graphics card now. You continually get amazing ME1 shots, Tup, that prove the graphics were awesome in the first game.

But the change from game to game is pretty noticeable. It's not necessarily bad. It's just there and to take good screenshots, I'm forced to work with it. Thankfully, I feel like I can get around it (except when the weird lighting of Palaven turns Kyrie into a ginger)

@Tup3xi So while waiting for the download...Awww cute horrified Tiia  And that awesome ME2 smirk while she is on the run--that's typical Shep for ya~ ;)

@sagequeen Despite for my bias love for Kaidan, I constantly bing him to missions forever  because of his usefulness since ME1. Maybe it's just my playing style, but as a soldier and vanguard, I need his support skills, and that's a lot of support skills he has (tech bursts, biotic explosions galore!). He and Miranda are my dream team due to usefulness (team sexy sentinel biotic booty...err ahem

As for your pictures, I have to say wow to the graphics change~ Hardly noticed it while playing at that time and thought ME1 was the pinnacle to graphics back then (haha silly me). Nice to see her in action (nice hairstyle change!), and I'm particularly pleased seeing her with Kaidan lol (I just love barriers...and reave <3).

Ah, yeah. Changed definitely. ME3 is harder to work with when taking screenshots (lighting?) when compared to ME1 and 2. Oh, and I'm glad if you find them worth looking at!

@laikabaws
I think you Shep looks extremely cute in second and last pic - she did hit Zaeed, right?

May I say that I officially hate you Tup!  I now have, what most in South Africa drool about, a top of the line internet connection since we moved (we were renting before, so was no use installing ADSL in our landlord's place), and it's only rated at 4096Mbps. You must have a fiber line right to your ME3 machine, right?

Also downloading Leviathan, though not at those speeds... lol

Naah... I have 24 Mbit down & 3 Mbit up ADSL2+ but in reality it's about half that. Not that good considering that my unlimited mobile data for 10 €/month is almost as fast (or could be as fast if my phone wouldn't max out at 7,2 Mbit/s but has better upload speed). It wasn't maxing out the connection there, probably their servers got a beating.

I've really liked it so far; need to take a shower and then continue.

Well I got home from work early so........

*LEVIATHAN SPOILER WARNING*
Click the link at your own risk!!!!

Loading a saved game right before the assault on the Cerberus base that way once I finish the DLC I'll go into the endgame to see who it changes the ending.

I will be taking my two favorite boys with me so you'll see if there is any LI specific dialogue.

Ah well completed the DLC 1,5 hour ago and all i will say now is that it was way better than cynical me expected. Going to wait for a few days so people get the chance to play it before posting screenshots and discussing it but i hope it lives up to what people want <3

I haven't beat it yet (I'm still playing it right now actually) but I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by the amount of squadmate dialogue so far. I was pretty much expecting Overlord levels, but everyone has a lot to say during the missions, and your entire crew even has comments about things if you talk to them after each mission! There have even been a couple of cute Kaidan lines! Yay!
