Urania Jane (UJ) Shepard/Colonist/Sole Survivor/Grey Paragon
Romance: Liara (loyal)
Final Choice: Synthesis

So, what happens to your femshep's universe?

Default Fem!Shep model, modded black haired.
Zelda Katelyn Shepard - Earthborn, Ruthless, True Neutral
Romance: Kaidan (loyal)
Final Decision: Synthesis

After the Reapers and their forces suddenly became Docile and finished restored what they had destroyed, the tenious alliances between what was formerly known as the 'Council Races' had all but evaporated. The strenious task of bringing every living species together against their former common foe, and the efforts of Commander Zelda Katelyn Shepard had seemed to go to waste as old rivalries shattered the last remains of the 'united' galaxy. The galaxy became segregated, fractured. Each race remaining within their own territories,  unless exploring uncharted Relays.

Many of those whom Shepard counted as loved ones had felt her loss for the Second time: Kaidan- her lover - had remained in command of the Normandy operating his biotics division onboard. With the loss of his love, he is quieter, colder and more ruthless than ever. Any semblence of his once gentle nature is gone. Replaced by a bitterness left behind by the knowledge that Shepard had once more been forced to give up her life for the sake of the galaxy, and the knowledge that his parents had also been among the casualties on Earth.

While the galaxy had divide once again, war threatened its return. The changes brought on by the Crucible were not easily acceptable for some as they were for others. Many people, civilian and military alike, threw scorn on their new abilities and appearance, even going so far as to demonise Shepard's image as the Galactic savior and Martyr. Wishing to re-establish the line between Organic and Synthetic, these splinter factions banded together and created a 'cure' for their condition.

In a few decades, they do in fact return to their pure organic states and this new treatment is met with mixed  feelings. The idea of the 'cure' is largely scorned by many of Shepard's former companions viewing it as an insult to her sacrifice. Some of the popular believe similarly. Despite that, others still leapt at the opportunity. Close to 60 percent of the galaxy populace returned to their original states, while the remaining wished to continue to evolve as hybrids.

Conflicts begin to arise as hybrids constantly refuse to accept the 'cure'. Conflicts start to boil over to the point of open agression. In time, it sparks war. And the only person who could possibly have stopped it, is now gone seemingly forever. However, some of Shepard's former crew (and other associates) start to find subtle hints and clues that this many not entirely be the case. Kaidan makes it his personal mission to get to the bottom of the whole mystery, accompanied by Garrus, Tali and Liara.

They discover that in the process of creating the Synthesis world, Shepard's personality had been absorbed and shattered. Shards are already starting to reform, but it becomes a race against the clock as other parties (*coughs* the Leviathans*coughs*) are attempting to gather them as well for reasons unknown. Kaidan and crew lose. Shepard's personality and memories are firmly in the grasp of Leviathan and cohorts.

Garrus and Kaidan infiltrate a facility and split up to cover more ground. Kaidan finds Shepard's personality and downloads it, escaping with her in a new physical body courtesy of the Leviathans. However, the trauma of being their prisoner and the effects of intiating Synthesis have left Shepard childlike and catatonic. This later proves to be a direct result of the Leviathans tampering with her mind, and trapping Shepard in a constant immitation of Thane's memory recall.

That's about all I have time for right now folks. Gotta get some sleep. But, yeah. Fem!Shep's post-Synthesis headcanon.

Edit: This happens in a period of about 50+ years. Shepard's rediscovery and rescue over about 15 years. In my headcanon, thanks to Synthesis, organics no longer age so rapidly. Practically, they're immortal. So, yeah.... just thought I'd put that out that.

Interesting epilogues all around, some pretty nice ideas. I see many like to put an happy ending twist on it. I guess its normal, everyone likes their Shep ;)^_^

I'm not going to publish the epilogue to Kyla's story just yet, I reserve it for a future blog post (and after I actually play it, lol, though I already know what she will choose). There might be a few hints in the existing posts...
See, I'm getting there, as these pics proves! I've let her hair down just for the cutscenes, felt more realistic. ^_^

Doubts before the final push...

Esperanza Shepard
Earthborn Sole Survivor
Paragade (heavy on the gade)
Vanguard
Garrus-mancer
Final choice is control.

I think the Catalyst created from Esperanza would avoid contact with the crew, except EDI. She'd be instrumental in the rebuilding, but avoid communicating much in return. Most questions would be answered with "The Crucible changed our motivations" and little else. As soon as the galaxy is rebuilt and seems to be functioning, the Reapers themselves would retreat to the edge of dark space and begin to try to reverse engineer some of the lost species. They would function as record keepers, buying samples of genetic material and recording culture and individuals.

Esperanza is gone, but her motives remain -- protect diversity. Do not interfere unless necessary. With a memory written across the Citadel, the new Catalyst would exist primarily to gather data and serve as an archive of the galaxy for as long as the Citadel continues to exist. The only ones who'd know what Esperanza became and how she died would be EDI, the geth, and eventually, the rachni queen. To the rest of the galaxy, it'd be as though the Reapers never were...

Until the protheans return.

The Catalyst would interfere in galactic wars, preventing annihilation of cultures. And it'd keep a very close eye on the Leviathans. Mostly, however, it would observe and remember, forever. What was once Esperanza Shepard becomes the operating parameters for the Reapers, almost their subconscious, and she'd be eternal.

Whatever she lost, she may not even be capable of regretting anymore.

It’s a really nice asari texture, but I just can’t see her as Liara. Maybe that’s her hanar half-sister? ^_^

Edit: wee, new avatar! I almost got through DA:O in the time it took to get the characters uploaded. It’s a bit serious/aloof, so goes well with my post content, usually…perhaps Eevs is a bit too much of a self-insert :P

LadyAly: Great screenshots! I loved Cortez in Leviathan. He has the best smile. And when he took a class in badass during that one level I was so proud (trying to be vague about all this just in case there are people who still don't have Leviathan!)! :P

Seb: Kyla looks great with her hair down! I'm never too fond of that hairstyle (sue me, I associate it with ME3's true villain: Diana Allers), but it really works for her, and I see what you mean about putting her hair down for realism. Sleeping in a bun doesn't sound too comfortable!

Thanks! ^_^ yep, I agree it really makes who Kyla is deep down stands out, the one under the armours of metal and "I'm Commander Shepard and I kick asses" attitude. To be honest, it fits very nicely with the characterisation I have been building for her in my story...
Did Carry gives Cortez a back of the head scratch for him to look so happy? And I love how Garrus seems to be looking deep into the audience (us) mind, quite playfully actually!

Thanks too! ^_^ I figure out that if your hair is really long, it make sense to sleep with it tied in some way or another, but here Allers' hair is not that long, so I guess it works to have it untied (and Shep always have it strictly tied most of the day, let her head skin rest a bit... :P). A bonus is that it shows its nice dirty/sandy blond colour better that way ;)

I hope Cathy put her hand on her face for that sneeze... otherwise, oops, I cannot see anything through that mech canopy

I love Zaeed like a fat kid loves cake. He always reminded me of Canderous, yeah he is the biggest **** in the galaxy but you keep him around in case hell grades on a curve.

Zaeed and Garrus are my go to team in ME2 for Zody, though I'm trying to headcanon a reason why a paragon would have someone who is clearly renegade. Garrus you can say he is her BFF and she wants to mentor him in the way of the paragon. Maybe its a mutual respect kind of thing.

Zody has seen some **** + Zaeed has seen some **** = bonding...

Okay so they haven't shot each other, that counts for something right?

But seriously, I hate killing characters off. I am able to step back and see a character for their value instead of "I hate that character, I killed them lol." That attitude is something I don't like in my fellow gamers. personally might not like them but that doesn't mean the character I'm role playing would kill them. Plus I like seeing all the content in a game. For example that is why I let Fist live from ME1, trolling him in Afterlife is so worth it.

I kind of consider killing Jacob (and to a lesser degree Ash, as much as I love her in ME1) as doing them a favour. Saving them from their ME3 incarnations. :P

Hah, same, but with Conrad even with paragon alts that I just go through the motions with. I was shocked that he wasn't in any of my imports for ME3, but no big loss. =p

Edit: Oh, another person I never saw in ME3 was Kelly Chambers. I was mad that I'd have to take her out to dinner to get the fishes fed so I didn't do it on any of my characters. Stopped buying the fishes, too.

@Jamie -- Interesting to see what you finally chose for UJ. You had been wrestling with the final choice as they all had their merits.

(Just going to reuse my old images for each gal, sorry. My screenshots are on an external hard drive somewhere. Haven't unpacked everything from the move yet.)

Image IPB
Joan Shepard/Earthborn/Ruthless/Soldier/Renegade
Romance: Kaidan (loyal)
Only Choice: Destroy

Married Kaidan. Stayed in service training the best and the brightest with a reputation as a real hardass. Bought real estate in London. Named her only son after David Anderson. Occassionally took on highly-classified missions with familiar faces -- just like old times.

Image IPB
Judith Shepard/Colonist/Sole Survivor/Infiltrator/mixed morality/pro-Cerberus
ME2 Romance: Jacob
ME3 Romance: Traynor
Final choice: Renegade control

The Reapers eventually made a EDI-sized reaper bot where Shepard's "essence" would be transferred into in order to pay visits to former allies and friends. And just to make people nervous. And because I said so.

Image IPB
Natalie Shepard/Spacer/War Hero/Engineer/Paragon
ME1 Romance: None
ME2/3 Romance: Garrus
Final choice: Synthesis

Garrus eventually found the peace he needed to find love again with someone else. Shepard was all around them in everything, seeking to unite everyone in peace. Her intentions were good, but the fallout from merging organics and synthetics remained to be seen. Joker got synthethic parts (or a cure from some other race that shared their knowledge like one big databank, don't care which) so his disease was no longer a problem. No kids for him and EDI though. EDI did upgrade her platform with epidermis and relaxed her hair to be more like him.
