Except this on it's own is a contradiction, because when you KNOW something else is coming then DLC is not the only thing to look forward to if you're invested in the franchise/setting. Right now, any DLC ME3 brings out is the last content we'll get inside this line of games. This should make more want to buy it rather then less, from that POV alone. Guesswork from both sides, too many angles and we're not experts by any means.
It doesn’t work like that, by and large. Markets aren’t rational.
Sidenote: Asmuch as the BSN might be vocal about their dislike of ME3, this is a tiny representation of the actual playerbase. Aside from that, your opinion of a game is not everyone's nor can you ever assume it to be the domineering one. It's again, all guesswork and assumptions.
Yes, yes, let‘s not rehash this.
What personally moved me to respond was purely that we don't and can't know. Honestly, it's tiresome to hear people complain about things they know little about in the end. Thinking you can expect things, assuming things are simple, it's all a recipe for setting yourself up for eventual disaster / disappointment.
Yes, well, “people” weren’t “complaining”, just remarking that they’d like to see some appearance DLC.
If
you start arguing that BioWare shouldn’t release (or isn’t doing so), then you ought be prepared for a counterargument, and certainly not get pissy about it when one’s presented.
So, let’s just drop it with the understanding that we see the optimal release schedule of ME3 DLC differently.
