Why can't I find the sweatshirt outfit? My Fem-Shep has that party dress where Bro-Shep has the leather jacket. I want the sweatshirt!!!

Do you have collectors edition or DDE? It's included in those. In any other case I'm not sure if it can be added via coalesced.bin editing.

@Ottemis
Oooo.... Raine! Long time no see.

Yep, Tiia is definitely a brunette.

They are all very pretty :) my favorite's Laire. I don't recall seeing her here? Maybe that was earlier than I became active...

It appears the bun hairstyle darkens my choice colour significantly... Better untied then:

Yeah the hair's darkened quite some near the scalp, I quite like it on Laire, but then she's always had the buns, so it was never any different. I've tried her with loose hair at some point, she looked better as a brunette because of it.
But yeah, Laire was my first playthrough just after ME3 release, so a couple of months ago again since I played her. I'm playing Marie through ME1 now 2 atm, then I can play Leviathan with her first on a complete runthrough.
And thank you for the compliment =)

Naomi is a brunette!

Posted Image

And the lack of dirty blondes might have to do with the fact that the ME1 CC doesn't really HAVE a dirty blonde color. There's the light blonde, then there's the strawberry blonde. Then a bunch of shades of red, then dark brown, then black. And there's no Gibbed, so you can't just make your own.

That being said, my next Shepard after Naomi (I know, I know, getting waaaay ahead of myself here) is most likely going to be a blonde.

Tiia, at least in that lighting, is quite close to the prized natural auburn.

Edit: I have no idea why I italicized that. Maybe too much ASOIAF?

Auburn's more of a brown meets red meets blonde depending on the lighting.
It disappeared out of the CC in ME3, but with gibbed editing:

Yes, well wiki was here for the example, I've heard it from other sources too. The redheads seems also not to be in danger of dissappearing... Maybe both blonde and red will be less common than they already are, but for sure they will not go away.

What will happen is that we will start to see some interesting combinations that are uncommon or not present at the moment. Redheaded blue-eyed asian, maybe? who knows ^_^

Not asian but redheaded pale blue-eyed right here. Sho nuff! B) I get people asking me all the time if my eyes are 'real.' I'm going to look into this more.

The only thing that is in danger of disappearing is ignorance. Redheaded blue-eyed is how i originally wanted former default to look - or chatain green-eyed.

Auburn... Dafuq is th... (google) Reddish brown? Hair colour is rather difficult thing in ME3 because it changes so dramatically between different lighting situations. By default Tiia had the brown preset hair but since it mostly looked really dark I tweaked her hair colour a bit. But as far as I can tell, it's brown. But then again I can't really tell what my own hair colour is. I used to be as blonde as it can get when I was a lot younger. Now I'm not really sure at all.

That one, in particular, is a beautiful shot—but I disagree a bit. Auburn is the color that, naturally occurring, looks brown in the shade, and a deep coppery red when the sun (or other light) hits it. This is just a dash too light.

But, that said, maybe Tiia’s is a little too dark to really fit that description.

I have naturally auburn hair, and yeah, it looks brown in the shade, but coppery reddish in the sunlight. Never really blonde. But I'd still say Ottemis's Shepard has auburn hair! Hers is more of a light, ashy auburn, maybe, but it's still auburn.

Light auburn goes more towards blonde, or rather darkish blonde/light brown, which can light up 'blond-ish'.
All have strong red infuences though.

Consensus achieved!

Proposal for corollary: auburn almost never works on men. Although they nailed it for Richard Madden in a couple episodes in GoT.

Er.

Can't say i agree with that. To me there's no such things as right proportions or looking right. Thought femshep could have used more attention.

There’s strong evidence that pretty much all humans are attracted to A) proportional and B) symmetric faces. You probably are too, at some level (this is all far beyond consciousness).

But that’s not at all the same as saying that anyone not within some narrow tolerances is automatically ‘wrong’, or that one person can only prefer a particular configuration of features.

I must be in the minority...as i'm attracted to former default imperfect proportions.Posted Image

@Pretty much everyone...
See this is what happens when I post at 1am. Mind no work right.
Here be my brunette. Penelope
http://cloud.steampo...EE39ADC71257DE/

Who looks awesome in ME3, expect she is a Jacobmancer and Kaidan is dead.... so yeah.... I'm going to replay her from ME1 and make her a Liaramancer. Since that is apparently how I'm 'supposed' to play the game.

Well since me asking to see brunettes spawned a page and a half of those dark haired beauties, I wanna see those fiery red heads!! Meeeeeeow!

Some time ago the old femshep thread was crashed by some guys wanting to start something (knock on wood that it hasn't happened in a while nor will it). One snide comment stood out from the rest, that there was no reason to be proud of a femshep (or any Shep) face. Ignorance is both blissful and full of itself, I suppose, because nothing could be further from the truth. Just getting a femshep to look right in the CC whether its ME1 2 or 3 is a feat. Add gibbed modding and texmods on top of that and it becomes even more complex. I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but still it should be said that everyone should be proud of their girls. And while I may not comment on everyone's Shep, I love looking at them all.

I don't know about that incident on the previous thread ,since I never got the chance to read through all the pages, but this thread I love. Seeing all these great femsheps here and reading through their story always puts a smile on my face. You guys are all awesome for keeping this thread alive and going.
What's great with femshep first of all as an idea, a character and then a figure is that you get to decide what she is going to be and that being said every single one of them is a work of art herself.  Gibbed or Texmod or not at all, I completely agree that everyone should feel proud of their femsheps! What's most important is what each one of them represent.

This is pretty much why I keep coming back to this thread long after I've considered myself done with the franchise. Everyone's just so damn proud of their girls and I love that. One of my favorite moments from this thread is the face code challenge in which everyone put in serious efforts to make good looking faces with each face code. That was a real eye opener and I found a couple of other face shape numbers that were my favorite to use. I love sage's neurotic tweaking of her girl. The transformation is amazing. It's the same girl, but way more realistic looking. (I wish I could put that kind of effort into my girl!)

This thread is actually the only place I've been comfortable sharing screenshots of my gal. Not that there's anything wrong with her or anything. I just got so tired of hearing comments like "if you've seen one, you've seen them all" or that all femsheps looked the same. Pretty hard to go head to head with Sheploo who's got a sweet detail to his face. (It's not all bad though -- I see guys who customize their own face get picked on just as much because their version doesn't come close to Sheploo. It cuts both ways.) You guys rock!
