Maybe it'll be a new outfit pack!

Okay I should probably set my expectations way lower. It probably IS going to be a t-shirt or poster or something.

edit: whoa, top, Naomi incoming

Haha, thank you.

And Tup3xi, that's such a funny/adorable picture of Tiia. Who could say no to that face?

@Metal-Dragon-Kiryu : Really digging your artwork, particularly the last piece. I like seeing a more traditional armor set. I think I'm just biased against gatling guns. Don't put gatling guns on your characters, mmkay?

No promises. Gattling guns are my Shep's kinda thing ;)

Almost done now. Clicky for big.
Image IPB

Edit: Another update, last for today cause I need to head to bed.
It's so almost done i can taste it but I want to change some minor things yet; some of the metal bits and the rolled up bit of cloth on the arms is still basetexture. I did just do the spec though, proud of how the light is properly going off the texture:

@Ottemis: really cool. I'm tempted to try.

@LadyAly: such a difficult moment for Kayleigh.

I did a few small upgrades on My Deirdre Akuze entry for those interested. I'm still working on the second part.

Oh, wow. Cool. The revenant looks even better here than it does in the game. Can't wait to see the camo pattern.

Wow, this thread is really slowing down. Only three posts today? :(

How about a question to get things moving again...

Does your Shepard have, for the most part, one casual outfit that she wears the entire game, or does she change it up based on her mood/the mission/the occasion? To broaden the question, do you imagine that your Shepard has a distinct sense of style, or is she more practical minded when it comes to her choice of clothing?

Well, in ME1 she wore the basic casual military outfit all the time.
Image IPB

In ME2 she used the basic Cerberus casual outfit all the time except in few cases.
Image IPB

She isn't really a fan of dresses but she was forced to wear this while on mission with Kasumi. She did try to avoid meeting Joker while she had that on.
Image IPB

Sometimes it's good to put something less military on and when she asked Liara to Normandy, that was the case so she had this on.
Image IPB

In ME3 it hoody all the time!
Image IPB

Well... Almost all the time. Someone hid her hoody and she had to wear this at one point.
Image IPB
(Sorry about the extra pic)

She tends to go for sporty looking outfits.

Yes, it was definitely a real slow day yesterday, huh? To answer your question: It was important that my three characters wore three different casual outfits. It made it easier for me to see them as distinct from each other and it helped establish their basic personality.

Devi wore what I called the Admiral Anderson casual. It's similar to what he wears and it helps set her apart from the rest of the Normandy crew while still giving her the look of someone in charge, without the rigid formality of the formal uniform. She was definitely born for leadership, but not of the authoritarian type.

Image IPB

I wanted Nemain to always appear small and unlike your typical image of a military officer so I put her in the first casual outfit, which helps identify her as an engineer(much like Samantha and some of the other crew, who wear the same) and the shoulder cut gives Nemain a petite look.

Image IPB

Indra, on the other hand, is my ball-buster character so the formal uniform is what she wears at all times. Indra interacts with the crew largely on a professional level and commands respect through  a mix of intimidation and competence. I haven't shared her background yet and I intend to, though maybe not around here since the thread seems to be tapering off even more and I sometimes wonder if there's a point to posting anymore.

Same all the way through.

I chose it because it makes Shep look a bit bigger, and this particular Shepard has a very muscular build.

As for why she chooses it, I guess she favours the combat uniform because she always wants to be prepared (head!canoning that it offers limited protection, given it's extra size)

@SaturnRing - It wasn't - she did not regret one bit of her decision to blow the world up to save all the others.
Kayleigh is cold and confident with her decisions - mostly :P Just don't let be Liara around *giggle*
BTW.: it was a pleisure to read over Deidre recollecting again !!

@Metal-Dragon-Kiryu Wonderful - Badass - Awesome - Can't wait to see the final outcome

First the question - All of my Sheps having there outfit. And they stay all to the outfit they love. Only for romance scenes she is probably wearing the dress - counts not for all, though. But for all counts - they are at first soldiers. None of mine has cared very much about casual dressing.

Second: Yes - it seems to slow down here. Its the effect of GW2 and SWoToR - my guess.
@Tup3xi LOL - glad you posted the extra Pic - I love that pose from Tiia - so adorable when she gets angry:wub:

@Flies_by_Handles Come on - for sure you should share - I'm eager to read it

Kayleighs progress through ME 2

Jack and her not really close - but she respects Jack for her fight against the odds. Maybe its Kayleighs Past which let her get mild with Jack.

Trap- Test. She was the hell raging with TIM after

Image IPB

This smile can cause only one - Garrus. He is her closest friend since Ash denied her on Horizon. Also Miranda comes closer to her - she is seeing in this woman the constant fight against a father... even under different circumstances as hers.

Image IPB

I will repeat my FemSHep question from 3 sides before. Probably overseen since it was at the end of the side and a edit

FemShep question:  What did your Shep think of Hackett - especially after the Leviathan DLC and Arrival ?

The most of mine are respect him, some more some less. But Chiara was angry as she noted he has hide this important information and research before her.
And Kayleigh was like .. wth ... :blink:after the Arrival Mission

Here's the finished armor. If it looks a bit flat, it's because I haven't added shines from other light sources yet (because they don't exist yet!)

You might have to fullsize it to see all the detail...

I don't think that Tiia really even thought about it. There was so many things going on and in the end she was just happy that things ended up well. Hiding information or not.

Deirdre wears the casual military outfit most of the time; the uniform is her favorite but she reserves it for more formal occasions - or occording to her mood. Her clothes, armors or uniforms have to be practical but also look good. She thinks it is important to be elegant.

The thread slowing down is one of the reasons i supported posting our Shepard's entries here instead of only in our blogs; it did provide us with excellent reading material, a huge variety of topics to discuss and inspiration for character/background growth.

@LadyAly: I should have figured Kayleigh would approach blowing up the relay in that very pragmatic fashion of hersImage IPB She is awesome. Thank you for re-reading my Akuze entry. It helps in finding the will to finish that chapter. As for your question about Hacket, i haven't gone through Leviathan yet. The inability for me to use Deirdre in ME3 is such a hindrance and  sapped any desire to go through another playthrough. But based on ME and ME2, i consider him sort of a mentor for my Shepard - in a lesser degree than Anderson. I love Lance Henriksen voice.

@LadyAly: Renee (and I) thought Hackett was mostly trying to protect himself and the information. While keeping information on a need-to-know basis makes sense (considering how good Cerberus and other unsavory types are at hacking), it can be rather frustrating. Basically: security can suck, but we are being watched.

@merylisk
Well, I'm on the 360, so my FemSheps can't change in ME.
In ME2 and ME3, their garb is mostly based on alignment and personality. Uberparagon Renee wore the Science uniform in ME2, because it doesn't have the Cerberus logo anywhere, and looked professional. In ME3, she's in dress blues, if only because she has to play diplomat so darn much.

Renegon Nimue (Vanguard with anger problems) wore the Cerberus uniform throughout ME2, and wears the hoodie in ME3. On the other hand, she does feel patently ridiculous in a dress.

I agree with this! I always enjoy reading them, and while I think it's still a good idea to also post it in our blogs, I think more content in the thread wouldn't be a bad thing at all. It does provide good inspiration/discussion material.

And to answer my own question, Anja wore the science outfit in ME2 and 3, because it's elegant but practical and professional. She also rocked the officer uniform fairly often. Dresses were only for dates, and she prefered the long dresses to the short tight N7 dress.

Image IPB

Naomi, on the other hand, is always very conscious of her appearance. She know from her experience in gangs that looking the part is as important as walking the walk and talking the talk. So, she rocks a variety of casual outfits (including dresses) depending on her mood and the situation. In my headcanon, she bought a ton of really nice dresses on Ilium, and likes to wear them around the ship sometimes just to throw people off.
