Now that she is properly introduced I'll likely share a few more screencaps in the future. <3

Indra's background story is awesome.

Thank you.:) It's relieving to finally have it out of the way.

Someone should draw a picture of all our FemSheps. But wait for it. I am remaking Quorra in January.

I'm sure someone would be tempted if someone would be payed for that humongous task =P

@ Red: You are a rockstar.

Yeah, considering that took me somewhere around 6 hours-ish, (not actually sure, probably less than that but it was over two days) I'm sure a better artist could do it faster but drawing upward 20+ Shepard would be a exhausting task. Especially for someone who has a job/partner/children/sleeping habits. Mizznaaa tried to do something like that with 12 Shepards, she was going to do a calender. I think she started one Shepard before giving up. :P

I know there are several artist on Deviantart who do commission for a price. The pay depends mostly on the detail of the art.

Mizznaaa gave up because she played Mass Effect 3, then got depressed and curled in a ball. But yeah, I don't think I'll ever pick that up again, I still need to give myself enough motivation to draw Jennifer and with Napalm's piece and school, yeah...no time sadly.

@JamieCOTC: April looks stunning in her dress blues.

@Tup3xi: Your Shepard's fanfiction has scarred me for life. I love it!

@Flies_by_Handles: Interesting background. Thanks for sharing. :)

FemShep question: What did your Shep think of Hackett - especially after the Leviathan DLC and Arrival ?

I'm still not sure whether I'm going to incorporate Leviathan into the canon for my fanfics, so all I can say there is that Hannah would respect how his backing of the research about Leviathan showed his willingness to puruse whatever leads indicated a real possibility of finding a way to defeat the Reapers.

For Arrival, though - Hannah had done work for Hackett before, both during and after her N7 training, and in the absence of her actual father had grown to view Hackett, like Anderson, as a sort of father figure. She'd been on numerous missions assigned by a number of commanding officers that she was not at liberty to discuss, so she understands that sometimes information needs to be limited or actively suppressed. When Hackett approached her to request that she take this mission on, she felt relieved to know that he still trsuted her ability to get jobs like this one done. And because he admitted that one of the major reasons why he was approaching her was that her affiliation with Ceberus allowed for the possibility of plausible deniability if things went wrong, she was able to get over her initial feelings of resentment because she knew he was right about that, and because he had been honest with her.

Afterward the number of lives she had to sacrifice to delay the Reapers' arrival was weighing heavily, but Hackett's willingness to listen to what happened rather than immediately throw her in the brig helped more than she could say, as did his willingness to let her crew leave the Normandy before she turned herself and her ship over to Alliance forces.

Does your Shepard have, for the most part, one casual outfit that she wears the entire game, or does she change it up based on her mood/the mission/the occasion? To broaden the question, do you imagine that your Shepard has a distinct sense of style, or is she more practical minded when it comes to her choice of clothing?

Hannah mainly wears comfortable casual clothing, although she believes in keeping one or two outfits available for times when dressing up is called for.

She spends all of ME1 in her casual uniform because she considers herself ANMC first, Spectre second.

In ME2 she refuses to wear Cerberus' colors because after seeing the horros they were involved with in the first game, she can't bring herself to do something that would look like an endorsement of their methods. Just because necessity is forcing her to work with them, that doesn't mean she has to approve of them or their methods.

In ME3 she spends most of her time wearing casual uniform pants and shirt with her N7 hoodie, because despite Anderson's restoration of her active duty status, she's spent so much time out of an Alliance uniform, and killed so many, that she's suffering a crisis of conscience about whether she truly deserves to wear it again. She'll put on her dress uniform when dealing with heads of state in her efforts to bring the races together against the Reapers, but when that isn't absolutely required she's happier not to do something that makes her worry about what the sight of her in a full uniform might make others think of the Alliance.

FEMSHEP QUESTION: What does femshep mean to you? Is she just a gaming avatar or something more?

For me personally? She's a gaming avatar. I tend to play female characters in RPGs because I'm a guy, so I get plenty of opportunities to play one of those IRL, and I gravitate toward either snipers or PCs with some sort of fire-based magic, and the Infiltrator class lets me be both in this franchise.

Beyond that, though, FemShep represents something I want to see a lot more of. I grew up reading pulps, and fantasy, and SF, and I had a ridiculously great number of protagonists that were strong, and funny, and charming, that I could daydream about growing up to be like. And now that I have three nieces, maybe it's just that I haven't read enough of the right things, but it doesn't seem to me that girls get enough characters like that. I want my nieces to have just as many different characters that they can read about and think "I want to be like that when I grew up" as I did. So when we get something like the ME franchise, or Legend of Korra, I feel happy because it's more of what I want them to have available to them.

In response to Jamie's question, Femshep is definitely more to me than just a gaming avatar. It's hard to put into words, even. But Shepard as a character, particularly Anja (my Paragon), is definitely something of a role model for me. Her patience, courage, strength, determination, and selflessness are all things I find incredibly inspiring, and in tough situations I sometimes find myself thinking "What would Shepard do?" It sounds cheesy as hell, but I'm sure a lot of you here can relate.

@SaturnRing well- yes - she grows only soft if Liara is near her :P

@Jamie Thx  Susan did the same as Chiara - Thane convinced her to go back to Kaidan before he died. It was important for him to see his Siha with someone together who could give her comfort.
Jaime is really gorgeous<3

For your question =  *FEMSHEP QUESTION: What does femshep mean to you? Is she just a gaming avatar or something more?*

No - never only a avatar. Its strange but in ME-Series I made up a background - I give her weeknesses and strength. She grows to a person.
Otherwise in Dragon Age/Skyrim ( I love the games, though ) I get not to attached to the Character.
Maybe the mystery is the voice you can here in ME - makes it personal and lifely.

@Tup3xi *giggles heavily* this is great:bandit:  Ninja'd tjhe couple secretly
@meonlyred Awesome draw :wub:

@Super Napalm Melody is pretty cute -  show and tell us more

@Files I really did enjoy to read Indra's background - very interesting decisions, too. Its nice to see why she made this decision - and the Torfan draw is awesome

I'm glad if you liked it. She can be such a prankster from time to time. After certain incident when she was a kid she pretty much stopped those but Normandy and the crew gives way too many temptations...

Not sure if it is possible to add it to Xbox 360 but in PC you could just add this under the casual outfits in coalesced.ini (just be sure that the id is different than in other outfits):

(Id=3434,Type=CustomizableType_Torso,Mesh=Male="BIOG_HMM_ARM_CTH_R.CTHd.HMM_ARM_CTHd_MDL",MaleMaterialOverride="BIOG_HMM_ARM_CTH_R.CTHd.HMM_ARM_CTHd_MAT_1a",Female="BIOG_HMF_ARM_CTH_R.CTHg.HMF_ARM_CTHg_MDL",FemaleMaterialOverride="BIOG_HMF_ARM_CTH_R.CTHg.HMF_ARM_CTHg_MAT_1a"),PlotFlag=-1)

I tried that once quite some time ago since I wanted to get the old Onyx heavy armour but it turned out something quite different.

FEMSHEP QUESTION: What does femshep mean to you? Is she just a gaming avatar or something more?

Finally getting around to answering this. I see Femshep as a step in the right direction for when it comes to female protagonists. We're not there yet but she is almost the Molly Brown of games. She is malleable enough for the player to make her what they image her to be. Which makes her feel more like your own creation than someone else's character you're borrowing. This makes Femshep hands down my favorite character in books/movies/games/etc.

@LadyAly, Kayleigh looks so awesome!

Love all the pics of the Sheps with their big guns, haha.

Here's the second half of pics of Naomi on the Kasumi mission (sooo many good screenshot opps on this mission, seriously)

Around halfway through the mission, she suddenly went full on Renegade glowy-eyes lolol (I think it was taking the Renegade dialogue option with Hock that set her over the edge)

I guess I'll have to get one FemShep into ME3 to at least get screenshots of her using one of those turret-mounted weapons....

...and speaking of females using heavy weapons, why is it I can't find a cutscene of the asari's flagship the Destiny Ascension firing her main gun? That does it, new head canon idea: The Destiny Ascension's armaments were refitted to Thanix-cannon capabilities and can actually hurt Reapers. Cue Space Cruiser Yamato Wave Motion Gun-type firing sequence.

Since gun toting is the current trend, I want to share one my favorite pictures of Devi. This is the quintessential soldier pose. It's a shame she's toting the M-8 Avenger, ever present in cut scenes. It's no wonder Earth is in such a sorry state because if multiplayer has taught me anything, it's that the Avenger is a pea shooter but I digress:
