Also, is the term now 'gray' paragon instead of paragrade?

Is this now the term for paragon decisions (mostly) with a lot of renegade lip thrown in because it's fun to be b*tchy to mercs and other assorted ***holes when you have guns and biotics to back you up?

Ok, if your gonna use gray for Paragade. Then what would call a 'Renegon'?

Which by my definition is what a renegon/paragade would be in either case...just with me one does more paragon interrupts( paragade) while the other does more renegade interrupts( renegon).

Wat? 43 more days until dem Reapers arrive? Okay, i'll wait here.

*snip*

Only 43 days? I didn't realize it was so close! Excellent, we'll be waiting.

Depends on where you live.

41 days for the US, 43 days for Germany and 44 days for the rest of Europe.

How about over a hundred years till the Reapers arrive (which is when the game is set)?

Just kidding. I love the look of your Shepard.

I know most of you will disagree with me, but I think there should be a DLC where you get another character fighting some missions during the events of ME3 that could be able to romance a hypothetical single shepard (male or female, whatever). Like a "What if" story... You could import your Shepard to the dlc, that would make all the decisions you made while playing, except that (s)he would be single.
Why did I say that in the Femshep thread? Cause the new femshep is just too hot to not be romanced.

Can you tell us more about your idea? It sounds great but would like to hear some elaboration.

This may be a stupid question but...

...is your femshep a smoker? If so, which brand does she smoke?

No. Kyrie's vice is coffee. And the occasional drink.

Or two. Or ten.

Image IPB

As for romancing FemShep herself, as a straight female gamer, that would be like romancing a sister - or myself - or...something. I have enjoyed playing AS femshep so much that I would have a hard time getting out of her head to do so. She belongs in the ME world, IMO, and I see it through her eyes. I just have a hard time seeing her as anything less than the hero of the story. I think it would be really hard to have a DLC like that not objectify femshep to the point of being difficult for me to play through.

Isn't the gray description from Star Wars? Like a gray Jedi? I like Paragade or Renegon better personally.

Something like the "Darkspawn Chronicles" from DAO, where the game gives you the control over the enemy (the darkspawn) in a hypothetical situation where your original warden dies during the ritual to become a grey warden.
In this case, instead of an enemy, we should be able to create a random character, similar to the coop mp character, but with a face and a voice of course. They could throw in some random missions, where you would eventually meet Shepard and have the chance to romance him/her. Importing the save could give you hints, like "galactic news" saying what your Shepard did and where he is... Of course, you should be able to change the gender of your Shepard when you import the save, so if you had a male Shepard, but you want to romance a femshep, you wouldn't need to make another playthrough. And the importing would ignore any romance options/events, to give you a single Shepard. Of course, this is just a "draft" idea. Probably the devs would think it's lame...

I don't know...I guess paragade works. I'm guessing both have the same meaning really

Deirdre smokes Davidoff only on special occasions ( military tradition ). She can't really qualify as a smoker.^_^

Smoking: No, Tiia can't stand smoking and that was one reason why one batarian got stabbed by repair tool.

Yes, I understand your point. But as I said in my second post, this is just something that came into my head... Take a look in the second post, where I explain a little more of how it could work. The character that we would create, wouldn't be a superhero... Would be just someone fighting to survive just like the characters from the MP. But (s)he would have the chance to meet Shepard (with the gender of your choice) and romance him/her. Just a "What if" situation. And of course, as a DLC, so it would be completely optional.

Joker: It’s got an Enhanced Defense Intelligence AI, Javelin Disruptor Torpedoes, Silaris heavy ship armor, GARDIAN Lasers, Thanix Magnetic-Hydrodynamic Cannon, and a Tantalus Core.  So is it the new Normandy or what?

Shepard: Fix the cigarette lighter.

On very rare occasions, yes ... but not tobacco.  *ahem*

I think I do, too. I know some people hate the terms and prefer everyone to be one end of the scale or the other (or so some discussions would have me believe), but since there are so many shades of heroism for Shepard, I prefer paragrade and renegon.

Actually, the different %s of blue and red that you can get and why is, IMO, why Shepard is so darn customizable as a character.

Which by my definition is what a renegon/paragade would be in either case...just with me one does more paragon interrupts( paragade) while the other does more renegade interrupts( renegon).

There are so many layers or shades of grey: Deirdre always ends a playthrough with a higher renegade amount mainly because she's all talk, abrasive and cold. Yet she manages to avoid any "innocent" casualties. Kate in the other hand is very civil, polite and agreable and finishes with a higher paragon amount. With a higher body count!!!

My worthless two cents: I had never heard gray before in reference to Shepard but I think it might be good for Sheps that are nearly even paragon and renegade and the classic paragade/renegon for those Sheps with a more distinct leaning. To demonstrate:

Image IPB
I always feel weird describing my canon as a paragade because her paragon is higher by such a small percentage. (Gray)

Image IPB
I'm still in the middle of ME1 with Reagan but despite not being finished it's already obvious that there is going to be a tangible difference between her paragon and renegade scores. (Paragade)

But in the end I don't think it really matters what they are labeled as, to each their own.
