Huh, just noticed this, but apparently FemSheps red hair isn't natural. Though with how bright red it is is that really a surprise?
What I'm meaning is the fact that her eyebrows are black.
Wait, is that a normal occurrence? I honestly don't know.
It does happen sometimes. Eyebrows being lighter or darker than your head hair usually indicates a dye job but not always. My old roommate had naturally dark brown hair and eyebrows that were nearly blonde. She was really self-conscious about it because she thought it made her look like she had no eyebrows at all. So it has been known to happen.

Re: Favorite Scenes...
Vigil would be mine if I could only pick one moment in all of ME1. The vision and the Colonist quest were major favorites too, though. The conversation with Ash and Kaidan was awesome as well, and the romantic scene was great. (All except for the infamous JOKERISWAITINGFORYOUONTHEBRIDGE!!!!)
I liked the ME1 scars better. They added character. The new ones... I don't know... it's like somebody bit through the chocolate layer to reveal the radioactive orange julius swimming under Shep's skin. It doesn't say "creepy nanobot reconstruction" so much as "delicious, but you need some Rad-Away afterwards" to me.Metopholus wrote...
Hmm...i wonder if the renegade scars carry over to the new default femshep design if you import from ME2 and switch to the default look? call me crazy but i actually liked the scars.
I agree with you, Demonhoopa--the scene with the batarian on Omega, and especially the Colonist Shepard quest in ME1 was incredible with her, and boring with him.Demonhoopa wrote...

I love how they're giving femshep a renegade feel. Goes along with Hale's voiceacting I suppose; I always felt she made a great renegade whereas Meer a great paragon.
If I'm being honest, I think Hale's also a better Paragon. I damn near teared up the first time I saw her comfort Tali on her loyalty mission. Felt similarly at the end of Miranda's. When Hale really softens it up and goes to a near whisper, it kills me.
I actually very much appreciate Mark Meer, though--hmm, I'm not sure if it was just that he originally saw Shepard as very stoic, but he showed less emotion than Jen in ME1. I kinda think it took him some time to adjust to offstage acting, and being a character actor I think he did better with the smaller, more comedic, fun roles than the more ambiguous and complex role of Shepard where you're playing a character who can be a number of different people.
I think he can relate better to hilarious characters like the Biotic God because he is this awesome, quirky, goofy guy, whereas a marine might be more of a stretch. Also, while Hale is a veteran of voice acting, I get the sense he was more used to a stage with other actors to feed off of. Maybe he could envision it better for Jethann and such (characters with a sharply defined, entertaining personality) than for Shepard.
I still enjoyed my ManShep run, though. (Only finished one, partly because I loved Ash and Jack and wanted to see each of them with a great guy.) I felt Mark Meer's Shepard performance improved noticeably between 1 and 2--he nails the trailer stuff most of the time regardless, but ME2 felt more consistent to me--it was quite good. I just had learned to see Shepard a certain way, you know?
It took me a while, but I now appreciate the different performances as an aspect of the game which adds to replayability. Their different interpretations of the character enrich the game, as I see it. I think Meer and Hale each had some lines better in ME2, honestly. It might be more a flaw in the directing style of ME2 than the actors.
That said, I think ME3 will be the sweet spot for ManShep. I'm more of a FemShep kinda gal overall, but I think Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale will both give their best for the final installment and will rock hard. I can't wait.
I love that too! It makes me SO happy! I just about lost it when I saw that the trailer is happening!Tyrannic_Puppy wrote...
Awesome. With the weapons customisation will finally be able to get a good 360 degree look around them. Hate trying to swing the camera around in game to try and find a good angle to look at them.
And loving Bioware atm, keep giving us glimpses of FemShep left and right. They're not just giving us a FemShep trailer to shut us up, they seem to genuinely want to build some hype for her. The demo is so close I can taste it. And as for the trailer... fingers crossed it comes out before I go to bed in 14 hours time. If not there is no way I'm getting to sleep tonight.
*sheepish smile* It's actually 5:30 and I still can't sleep. Too excited. Good thing classes don't start up again until Monday!
*lol* The nerdrage that would ensue if they made the trailer all-smooch! Well, to be fair, her in underwear without an equally unclad male would make us ALL nerdrage, I think. Or most of us, certainly.meonlyred wrote...
I hope all 2 minutes-ish is Kaidan and Shepard making out.
But as to Kaidan/Shepard in the trailer... you know, love is hard enough to find in real life, let alone a great game like this. It may not be everyone's #1 choice to see Kaidan serving under the Commander again, but that's just for the trailer anyway. We all see what we want to see when the game is in our hands, on the first playthrough and every one after--isn't that what matters?
We're getting a FemShep trailer. That's a big step. As long as FemShep is herself, I for one am not complaining about who she's snogging. Unless it's a Reaper.

Will they have Shepard kissing someone? Maybe, maybe not. They have before. In the past trailers for ME1 and ME2, we see Sheploo kissing Ashley, Jack, Liara, and Miranda. If they keep with this trend there is a very good likely hood of seeing Jane Shepard with someone. She isn't your Shepard so you'll survive.

I like Kaidan. But if it is acceptable to love certain characters, bashing them is also fair. All characters impact us in different ways. We should all feel free to express how we feel about them - as long as we respect each others point of view.cgrimm54 wrote...

No its not. We do NOT bash character in this thread. Period. You can not like a character based on their character. But absolutely NO bashing. Example: "I hate *Name* because they are dump, boring, etc."SaturnRing wrote...

It's called a positive environment. Which we tried to keep going in the old thread. Some people are very defensive about the things they love. I don't see how doing such a thing is productive nor healthy for the thread. Just my opinion, that other people seem to share.SaturnRing wrote...

I find this very weird. The closest thing I have to a canon-Shep personally is a MShep who was faithful to Liara. But nothing about the makeout scene in ME2 trailer made the trailer bad. In fact it made it good. Every epic story needs an epic romance imo. Good on BW to put that in the trailer. The trailer is simply telling one version of the ME story. What you choose in your game is up to you obviously.
