Yeah tis harder. What I find funky is how the sliders do different things depending on what you're making, go check out the difference in function for the gaunt between male and female for instance. It's confusing as hell, I'm pretty sure it's why alot of male sheps have really erm retracted cheeks? Hard to work with.Sylvianus wrote...
I am the only who think that it is more difficult to create a maleshep than a femshep ?( good looking )
Then there's the eye- options for male shep, just... horrific.
The hairstyles are horrible, because they're just not polished at all. Texture to mesh differences in the necks, that you don't have with femshep because the hair either curls/falls over the devider full mesh or it's a full texture from the get-go.
All these little things.

I tend to think that damn near every shep, male or female,is gonna be ugly except Sheploo.

May be, I always use a preset Sheploo, i think he's okay and the only posible well loking male character.

While using the preset is fine, some of us think it important to customise to increase bonding with a character and really make it ours. I know I do.Art3mShepard wrote...

Yesterday, I tried to do the most beautiful shep ever, because it will be my canon, and I tried almost all options for eyes. My god. T____T
The default eyes are the only ones I like.
You seem to know some things. Have you got any idea to have a better good looking for maleshep ?

Could you add my music video to OP?

Lol. Exactly my thoughts before. I would take all the time shelpoo, but I am so weird. I can't stand playing a default character, created by the game.Doriath666 wrote...

So technically, I will always prefer the ugly maleshep, because it is mine.
However, recently, I saw some good maleshep. It gave me hope to do something better.

I can tell you though that the facial shape will make some difference so you could try and experiment with it. For male sheps 1 and 5 are used most often, where 1 is longer and 5 is broader. These are most over caucasian choices, then there's 2? I think? That's a typical choice for coloured Sheps etc etc. Feature offsets and proportions will be manipulated according to what facial shape you picked.
@Mesina2: Done =)

Yeah I hated my Sheps eyes in ME2. In the first game they seemed to look natural (as to why I picked them), but something must have happened to him during the lazarus project because everytime he sits/looks down it looks like he's having a heart murmur or taking a painful no.2.Ottemis wrote...

Kharlo Shepard, reporting for duty!

He's a paragade vanguard. He's actually my only Shepard. I've been contemplating making a femShep since I've never made on before, but...
I actually disagree: I think making a good looking femShep is nearly impossible. Every time I try to make one, femShep just always looks like she has a duck bill. D:

I prefer my blond shepard in M1, if you look at him in the previous page, you'll see how his hair is too blond, too light. In Mass Effect 1 it was darker. Blond but not too much. A shame that I don't have any pi for the comparison.

I prefer my Sheps face in ME2, it's just the eyes that irritate me a little bit. All I can hope for is that they're not so screwed up in ME3 lol.Sylvianus wrote...
Are you more happy with your face in M2, but created in M1 ? My sister created a maleshep in M1 she loved him, and she didn't like how it changed a bit in M2. Her guy is struck by strabismus in M2 lol. Eyes to close between them.
I prefer my blond shepard in M1, if you look at him in the previous page, you'll see how his hair is too blond, too light. In Mass Effect 1 it was darker. Blond but not too much. A shame that I don't have any pi for the comparison.
My sister creates great looking Shepards but she can never complete Eden Prime or the lazarus station because she is too used to watching me play as my male Shepard, and seeing some other dudes face whilst hearing Meer's voice is just too awkward for her to put up with. So she is stuck with mine forever (muhaha).
