Damnit BioWare, why did you not just make Liara completely cold and obnoxious in the Shadow Broker DLC.
When I played ME2 first when it came out.. I had no issue making a new playthrough with no romantic ties from ME1 and then going with Tali. But now I can't pick between them.

Do two playthroughs, one for each of them


Also, just wondering, is this just a Shepard pairing discussion or can we discussion squaddie pairings as well, like who we'd like to see end up with each other from among the squad?

I am still holding out hope for Kasumi but Diana's inclusion has me worried now as to Kasumi's chances at being a possible LI.... but staying bouyant, if Diana is the only female inclusion, I hope she like Kas is a breath of fresh air....My Shep is so lonely.

I have to read Diana's part in the leaked script again to decide which of my MaleSheps to pair with her. I only skimmed it the first time around, so I don't have much of an opinion about her one way or the other. (The one thing I'm sure of is that I want her hairstyle for FemShep. xD)

Didn't even know they had a first thread of this. It's good there is finally one but the way BW rolls I doubt its going to be for long. But since its here, I'm looking forward to the continuation of import LI for 3. So far I love the fact that both Tali and Garrus are LIs. In ME Tali was a nice girl and that was all in 3 Kelly tells me she likes me and honestly I thought thats as far as BW would go but they blew me away when you really could romance her. I though it was sweet though I did have to gawk when Tali leaps onto shep and says about how she really can't wait to be with him right when Ken and Gabby were still on board! I was like, " Tali! Ken, Gabby, stop." it would've been further fun if they said something just like you got when at the police station when you tell the girl you shouldn't have to die because your boss says so everybody has an opinion on that one! But now that Tali and mshep are together they're to me the pair that is the best and I have the most interest in seeing how it turns out. I think she could always pull an Alister and I would really be hurt but with these two its almost one of those you can't truly be if BW does make it possible for these two to stand the test of time with one another I hope its very plausible and not given to the players for the sake of it like everyone living at the end of 2 felt like.

Garrus was a surprise but more in the I gave up when it was clear in ME he wasn't going to come around ever. But I still get the whole impression that it could go either way with him and fshep it could be they stay together or he thought it really was a one time even and fshep may not feel that way. That would be a conflict but I'm not sure BW wants to do that to players though if they did I would support it because that is a real conflict that can occur.

After that what the heck are they going to do with Thane? Magic cures suck all around sure they secure that happy road but like plot armor its very obvious what they did. I don't support magic cures for anyone team dextro included. Shep already got a magic cure we really don't need anymore.

I agree with the opinions that ME romance pace was better felt more realistic in its flow and of course the love scene showed way more connection between the two characters then ME2s fade to blacks ever did. Hopefully BW got the message go back to tasteful ME styled but keep the originality of the romances and end scene like 2 but with afterwards dialogue and scenes like ME.

Beyond that it'll be interesting how BW goes about the whole you cheated is it you cheated ME - 2 if you switched LI or is it you cheated if you flig with say Parasini and have a ME - 2 LI? And will shep be a moron the entire time or will we be able to go five wheel option and attempt to pick something closer to what we as players attempted to do.

Okay question for those romancing the VS, do you want an opportunity to vent at what they said to you on Horizon and/or discuss the email? I'm asking because this is something I've envisioned a hundred times over and if we don't get this opportunity then I hope the dialogue still goes through a wide array of emotion. 

Romanced or not this needs to be brought up! I'm sorry they called you a traitor with no proof! Sure they don't like the fact you switched side but you weren't the ones tossing civilians into the ship you saved them and VS and they call you a traitor? They denied their own eyes unless they are a reaper agent then it can make more sense but barring the latter Shep should bring it up. 1) it makes for sense that way and 2) it will then allow for the 5 wheel options of Q and A .

I want to ask as many questions as I answer I do want drama but there should be some options on there for low key and rush. It would be a real shame if BW brings this up only to run away from it like they've done on other touchy subjects in 2 mostly and a few in ME. BW is going to have loads of opportunities to create drama and keep it going Garrus's dad, the trial, how the geth/Quarian war restarts, killing the council because they won't send troops, ect I hope they don't waste them.

I'm not going to spoil it here, but I will say that the Garrus romance is only a one-time thing if Shepard wants it to be.

Well, it's great that she has a sense of humor about that. xD

I've read over Diana's spoilers again, and I've started figuring out which of my MaleSheps to pair her with (a Colonist/War Hero). It's not as easy to plan a romance for a character I have yet to see in-game.

Just like in ME2, Shepard has the option to continue the romance or end it. If she does continue the romance, then it's clear that they both care for each other very much. If she doesn't, then they remain friends (also the same as in ME2).

I'm not sure that makes Allers bi. Chobot could be referring to playing a DudeShep.

I don't think that she follows dogmas and all those silly things... she sounds pantheist to me, though.
