does my femshep and liara count?

am serious cuz i remember gender doesnt really apply to asari or something and it was the only romance in ME1 that was of any interest to me. also i think it counts as a opposite sex relationship.

femshep and liara are an opposite race also

Femshep and Liara doesn't really count as opposite-sex romance since Asari are women. Yeah, technically they're "monogendered" but they look and sound female and refer to themselves as female. If you're physically attracted to an Asari, it would be the equivalent of being physically attracted to a human female, so......

"Azure". Slang term for a part on the asari body. "Mainly near the lower reaches, near the bottom", according to Liara.

Plus they give birth, so it's implied that asari have a vag.

If I remember correctly they don't have human genitals. Joker even jokes about it in ME2:

Joker: "I hate when people refer to it as a cockpit. Alliance ships have bridges. Asari have cockpits. Oh wait.... no they don't!"

maybe one must look in an asari's pants in ME3 to see if you are having a opposite sex relationship or same sex or both or or or OMG!!! its so confusing!!!!

I admit the above is something I've wondered about for a long time.
Given Asari all look female and refer to themselves a female while they also refer to Asari Father and Mother?
How do Asari get knocked up if both are Female or mono gender?
Do they have a Vag or  dick? How do they get knocked up by Females of other races?
maybe they come equipped with both a vag and dick like instrament that serves the purpose of knocking up another Asari, would it also be used by an Asari to knock herself up with a Female Human or Female of another race?
Do they shape shift their plumbing?
Questions I'd like to have answered

Like I said before, there are multiple hints at asari vag. Azure being the most obvious ones.

Plus, the asari need to give birth somehow, they don't just crap out fully matured babies.

It looks like a sausage fest right now with Vega, and the two S/S romances of Steve and Samantha.

yeah. and i would also guess because asari are referred to as both father & mother in different situations that they have a penis and a vagina both.

so we will just say asari are perfect for opposite sex relationships also if you are a girl u can pay attention to their penis and if you are a boy their vagina or if you like both can have both

Female: Ash, Liara (2)
Male: Kaidan (1)

ME2 introduced:
Female: Miranda, Jack, Tali, Kelly, Samara (5)
Male: Jacob, Thane, Garrus (3)

ME3 introduced:
Female: Sam, Diana (2)
Male: Vega, Steve (2)

Total:
Female: 9
Male: 6

So, even if you subtract Sam, since she can only be romanced by femshep, maleshep still gets 8 gals to choose from while femshep gets 5 guys (since Steve can only be boinked by maleshep) If you subtract Samara since you can't get to the actual sex, then maleshep gets 7 gals while femshep gets 5 guys. If you subtract Kelly, cause she only kind of sort of counts, then maleshep gets 6 gals while femshep gets 5 guys. So, whatever way you slice it, straight male Sheps still come out ahead.

I wasn't talking about numbers really, and I think it's good that Female players are getting some other options (and S/S)
I was just not sure if we get any new female options in ME3. I didn't mean to sound like I'm complaining about it becuase I'm not.

Given Samara is in the new trailer I'd really like it if she were a LI because well I wanted her since she was reveiled before ME2 came out. Her personality I liked and so that didn't hurt and I would like  to be able to romance her.

Miranda's looks were great but personilty made her a "Hit and Run" type. I've only romanced her a few times.

Now Tali on the other hand I've never been interested in romancing her Personitly I don't like it's a turn off.

Jack was a bad ass and I liked her personilty (some of it reminded me of myself when I was younger) given that I felt she needed stabilty and had some issues to deal with and once.

I'd like Kelly to be a full romance option and more written and in depth.

Also Giana and the Asari from Feros hit on my Shep so if they come back maybe.....

Jack (And all of the ME2 romances, by extension) and her romance can be continued in ME3, but not started in ME3. AFAIK, there's a dialogue choice to reaffirm the relationship or end it for all of them.

My Shepard will just stick with Liara, going to stick with that. Maybe later on I'll do a full trilogy play through and try Tali, just don't find the female humans that interesting their both not that nice fo a person Miranda and Ash I just couldn't stand them as people.

Okay this cracked me up. XD

Vega's a Samaraish LI for both Shepards though so it's like this

Male Shepard female LIs: Ashley, Liara, Miranda, Tali, Jack, Kelly, Allers (more of a fling)
Female Shepard male LIs: Kaidan, Jacob, Garrus, Thane, Vega (Samaraish)
Male Shepard male LIs: Vega (Samaraish), Kaidan, Steve
Female Shepard female LIs: Liara, Ashley, Samantha, Allers (fling)

I included the s/s LIs for the full picture.

And yes I support all romances o/s included.

A BSNer who is pretty good with spoilers (especially DA2 spoilers) has the game and yeah spoiled some of the romances. IT's in the FFTL thread.
