That's a nice picture. It is nice to see the incorporation of the N7 hoodie that is going to be in the ME3 CE.

 Nice to see the responses!!

I would like to see some sort of reference back to Horizon and the chance for my Shep to say that she never wanted to let Kaidan go and tried to find him (Seriously first thing I asked Jacob and TIM was were was Alenko? And first stop I made was at the citadel only to be shut down by Anderson..). Could be just fan girl wishful thinking but I'd appreciate that.

To be honest, I do not know at all what I want to say to Ashley. It's like in real life,  want to talk about a problem, to clarify everything,  but without being clear on our thoughts.   I just let the discussion opening, and allow true feelings to come out.
What I am sure I want to say to Ashley is that I wanted to hug her after her letter. :)

Question: Who would you want as a LI in M3, except squadmates and why ?

Gianna Parasini.  I would like to see if their could be something a little more substantial there.  Plus, she's flirty.

Emily Wong.  My favorite intrepid reporter, do I really need more reason?

Those are the only two I can think of at the moment.

I always thought that Joker would be a nice pairing for Femshep. For Sheploo...maybe Dr. Chloe Michel.

Technically Kasumi isn't a squadmate so..I would have liked for her to be an LI. Why? I love asians, especially the ones that don't fit stereotypes.

I'm honestly surprised Joker isn't an available romance (AFAIK, could be wrong) for FemShep in ME3. I think it's a good idea, given their history together.

For me. It would be nice with Aria ( badass ), Gianna ( I love her, she's cool ) on my normandy. I must admit that the intrepide reporter is interesting. But I think with Aria, we would have the most badass romance ever lived.

For Joker, I must admit that I don't understand all the fuss about him as a Li. But that's just me. He seems to be fine alone, with his porn videos and EDI.

Here, one for Joker.

Well, I can love asians too, but not when their heads are hidden by a hood.

Well admittedly Opposite Sex romances aren't my thing but I do think of them all, Miranda's and Jack's would have to be my favourite, I just like the development. Tali shifts too quickly from overwhelmed but brave tech expert into a shrinking violet with no real warning. Ashley well... she has problems with overstepping her bounds, and she can be a bit of smartass, I just don't see her as mature enough for Shepard that said I do like her look in ME3. Liara, I just get a "you're too into me to be healthy" vibe, it's iffy.

Kelly is... understanding, caring and insightful but you don't get to see too much of who she really is outside of her professional role/what parts of her overlap with her professional role.

Samara is a warrior, not a woman, not an asari. While she certainly has emotions, I think she's become who she needs to be to live with all that has happened in her life and the distraction of romance will only detract from that. Although her abandoning all for the Code and Justice, I view as in no way healthy.

Shiala, Consort and Gianna? those aren't romances, just crazy and sometimes creepy Shepardsexuals.

tldr; I'm not into straight romances, and dislike most of them for reasons other than that but I do like Miranda's and Jack's.

Mhh. I do not know where you got the idea, but Ashley is a very mature character. She's only 25 years old in Mass effect 1.

For Samara, she isn't just a warrior. She has true feelings she hides. We see at the end of Mass effect 2 that she could look beyond the code, and may want more than what is offered today to her. She seemed less reluctant to experience something else to me. Yes she rejects shepard, but it is too early and too brutal in the same time. She is a very rigorous person. Nothing says that the idea won't make its way into her mind a few months later.

But thanks for your thoughts.

Feel free to ignore this, it's just a lot of explanation on why Ash and my MShep wouldn't work if he was Straight:
Well for me Ashley is childish in the eyes of my MShep, who as a Spacer/War Hero is a super-marine who by this point expects people to fall in line without back-talk unless they have a really good point. Now consider, when he first meets Ashley she's lost her squad in a fire fight, and him being the War Hero he is, is already pissed at himself for losing Jenkins (despite it not being his fault, Jenkins stepped out in the open), but now this random soldier has lost her squad and thus failed to meet the bar he sets for leaders as the War Hero. Then she activates the Beacon which he has to save her from (and while that's good for the plot and in the long run) and he doesn't appreciate her foolishness and then as they get back onto the Normandy he brings up her seeming not too happy with him and she gets at him for questioning her on Eden Prime (because she failed his tick list of sorts) and then as the disagreement escalates, it comes, the famous line (in my mind) that sours any hope for them as friends or lovers (aside from the fact my Shep is not that way inclined but if he were...) and I realize how childish this makes my Shepard sound (and he is in that respect)

"I don't remember inviting you onto my ship"
"This isn't your ship, Captain Anderson brought me on board"

Cue smug look from Ashley.

My Shepard never gained any respect for Ash until she understood and accepted that she had to die in order for Shepard to protect the nuke which Kaidan had activated. Her willingness to take the big one for the team and do so bravely would have repaired stuff enough for them to get closer, and were my MShep heterosexual he may have pursued a relationship with Ashley at some point after that were it possible for both Kaidan and her to survive.

So from my Shepard's perspective, Ash is too immature.

I also agree on Samara having true feelings that she hides but I think she's supremely unhealthy and unhappy in many ways, her lifestyle, the Code, self-denial, what she has to do to Morinth etc. and I don't think her staying on her current path or developing a romance with Shepard will be anything good, simply because of where she sits right now, I see both as being unhealthy roads for her to take. Of the two however, being a warrior rather than a person seems to be the simpler (not necessarily, easier) of the two paths.

Ok, so, from your shepard's perspective. Now can you explain me this ?

Shiala, Consort and Gianna? those aren't romances, just crazy and sometimes creepy Shepardsexuals.

About Gianna. That's nonsense.

She showed no interest toward shep in M1. She led her investigation, you helped her, she thanked you and told you that she own you a beer. There are no romance.

2 years later, she sees an old friend, you help her again, as a sign of sympathy to thank you again, she gives you simply a kiss on the cheek. It's hardly a true sign of interest. A girl to thank you never kissed you on the cheek ?

This woman is independent, has her own story, a strong personality and nothing indicates that she is in love with shepard. So how can you just say, " creepy shepardsexuals ? " That doesn't mean anything.

Chiala is the only one really interested in shepard. and, it's just a suggestion, nothing serious. ( Anyways, I am not interested in Chiala )

I think he meant, that they served no purpose except to hit on shepard. The problem is that I can't understand how he came to this perception, especially for Gianna. She's her own business in M1 and M2. Shepard doesn't mean much, except an old friend who helped her again.

From Gianna's tone of voice when she says "Much better than an
autograph" I think there's some attraction going on there. You're right that nothing she does indicates that she's in love with him or that he means anything to her. Honestly, I'd say you're going a bit far by saying she'd consider him an "old friend."

Much better than an autograph ? Is this a true evidence of attraction ? Like she is really interested to hit on him ? Wow.  My female friends, my sisters are saying me this kind of stuff, when I offer them my help to do something.

She could be " attracted a bit, " but she still considers shep like an old friend when she is leaving. Nothing more. She isn't hitting on him. She feels they are close enough so that she can thank him less formally.

Now, nothing prevents to imagine that this friendship can become more intimate in the future, but I doubt that bioware will do it.

I'm curious now. How would a human kiss a turian? The lack of lips kind of puts a damper on making out, that's kind of left to the species with the appropriate mouths. I can't even see how they would kiss one another.

Posted Image

It just aint happenin'. With an Asari or a Drell, well they actually have lips so no problem there. Can't guess on Quarians, for the obvious reasons.

A black or asian girl, really, any girl human who isn't white. No, ambigously brown Ash doesn't really count.
A middle aged human, gender irrelevant.
