Ok, I played ME1 and 2 on xbox 360. I'd like to play through ME2 again before ME3 launches, but I want to play on pc. That said, I don't want to be stuck with the default ME1 story on my paragon's otherwise spotless record. So I'm trying to find a way to set my profile up with the ME1 choices without having to actually play through ME1 again. There was a website where you could download ME1 saves, but it seems to have been taken down.

Anyone know another website or alternative method?

Use the Gibbed Save Editor thats linked in my sig, and you can change your ME1 backstory.

Just fire up a new ME2 game, save just after you wake up, and then exit out. Run up the save game editor, change the various flags under the ME1 plot table, save the changes, exit, and then fire up ME2 again, and load that save.

Don't ME1 save changes not count until import? IIRC you have to use a post collector base run save, make a second copy of it, and then edit the copy, importing it as your new game when you're all set.

Am I wrong on that Bog?

With the original version of the save game editor, yes, that was the case where the changes would only count once you import it as a NG+.

The improved version of the save game editor which I have linked, allows for a lot of changes to be made on the fly. It does have 2 tabs for ME1 plot flags, so it can get a touch confusing if you dont edit the values in both, and just edit one.

Thanks for the clarification, I have to see what version I have for it at home.
