Will these have any serious consequences or any reprecussions at all
with Mass Effect 3? Or does these just affect Mass Effect 2? In other
wods, are they optional? Or does something happen in Mass Effect 3 if
you miss something?

Nobody has played the full ME3 game yet, so couldnt say.
Some do follow on to ME2, depending on your choices. Mainly in the form of cameo appearances, or emails.

Ah okay. I just thumbed through my mail and found about 50 unread messages, which were probably from the side missions. I have a habit of not checking my mail.
Glad to know I made a positive difference in some of these people's lives. Or not, depending on who it was from.
