So haven't been here for a while, I don't know if there has been newsletter or official annoucments already for dragon age 3, been to cooped up with work sadly.

I did manage to do this in two days due to a major inspiration rush, and this is my take of what will happen in DA3 or what I WANT to happen in DA3 or what the story will be about.

Feedback is always appreciated and I hope you like it! :)

A truly great video if I do say so myself. I've got to say that the Sandal quote at the start won it over straight away for me. "One day the magic will come back, all of it."

Hearing that in Sandal's voice was actually quite chilling. The way the video is put together, all of the quotes and small segments of video go together excellently.

I really hope this will be the main focus for Dragon Age 3. By now by my count the Old God Child should be at least 7 am I right? With Flemeth making, what I assume to be her move on, well, the world, Morrigan will be forced to play her trump card which I can only assume is the OgC.

You should probably know that this is the second video I have added to my favorites on Youtube, the second video in 3 years. It's sitting right next to the Deus Ex: Human Revolution Cinematic trailer.
That should show you how highly I regard this video.

Thanks kindly for your words :) I tried to make it as dark and foreboding as I could, heh.

I really hope so too! But I guess we will see, I really want to know more about Sandal, Flemeth's plans, Morrigan and her child and what the wardens were doing in da2, there are just so many loose ends.

If I remember correctly, the blight in Origins was with the fifth Old God and there are 7 in total, so I guess Morrigan's child is still the fifth one.

Thank you ever so much for that, i feel honored :)

Don't put your hopes too high on it!
IMO the new released novel Dragon Age: Assunder will set the stage for DA:3. Well, basically it’s all about the Mage vers. Templar plot.
As Mike L. said in one of the discussion panels, the new PC will have to save the world from itself.
Honestly I´m not fond of the Mage vers. Templar plot. There was enough of it already in DA:2. As for the return of Morrigan, I´m not certain if it would fit. And the last thing I want to see is the resolving of the Dark Ritual in some side quest.

I can always hope :P
If however it is true what you say, I will find it quite...sad if a war between mages and templars will be the only main story in DA3, I had hoped there would be more about the tensions in Orlais, the story about Morrigan, Flemeth etc.

If it it is only the war between mages and templars, then no, Morrigan probably wouldn't fit nor the child which makes me quite sad, and I agree I do not just want a side quest when it comes to Morrigan either. But one can always remain hopeful and hope that the people working for Bioware cooks up an amazing story which they have an amazing talent for doing.

I did hear or read somewhere from the Dev's that they were looking to bring DA3 back up to the scale of Origins.

In DA 2 the climax of the story was every mage in Kirkwall and some beyond rebelling. In my opinion DA 2 was a set up game for DA 3. You've got to remember that almost everything in both games has been brought about by Flemeth, everything that has happened has meant something, everything that has happened has been leading up to this point.

What Flemeth really has planned I can't say but I'm certain she didn't make push both the Mages and Templars to open war for no reason. Hell I'm even tossing around the theory that Flemeth is one First Tevinter Magisters and that something horribly, horribly wrong happened to her, something worse than just getting all Darkspawnified like that guy in Legacy.

But I think with everything going on with the mages that Morrigan will more than likely make her move, I just hope that it will be a main focus in the story. As for Sandal, there is obviously something going on with him. I mean being a Servant is one thing entirely, but for some Autistic Dwarf to know of the old god child, to have seen Flemeth in his room, HIS ROOM PERSONALY, and all of these foreboding predictions of the future, something serious has to be going on inside his head.

I think Flemeth may know his part in all of this or she might be slightly afraid of him I mean come on. He took down dozens of darkspawn and an ogre with just one small stone. Not to mention the abominations and pride demon at the end of DA2.

Yeh, I believe and hope badly that Flemeth will have more of a role in DA3, and I hope from The Q&A (which I think was from the PAX, not sure where I read it from, was a bit tired when I did, and these were not facts but ideas) that Morrigan will have some kind of role since they said we will see more of her story in the future. Hopefully that will be with Flemeth as well :) Gosh, I'm so tired, so sorry for all the grammatical errors or whimsical ranting lol.

How did I miss this?! That is one super video! Makes me want to play DA:O all over again. My son thinks Flemeth is one of the old Elven Gods. I can't wait for DA3.
