Armor, gauntlets, hair wrapped in red...
Or, for the mundane day-to-day, what I *like* to wear is a good pair of boot-cut jeans and a geek-themed t-shirt. And on cooler days, add a swanky jacket or hoodie. I like being comfortable but I do try to strike a presentable and mildly polished look. Different occasions call for different attire though.

Regardless of weather I always wear jeans, a jacket and a geek/nerd/internet themed shirt.
As a matter of fact this is the shirt I'm wearing right now.

20% of people laugh.
30% ask me "Are you a communist?"
50% just don't get it.

Dark blue or black jeans, t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, with or without buttons, and Italian loafers or a sturdy pair of boots or heavy shoes depending on my what I'm doing. When it's colder I throw on a dark denim jacket. When it's *really* cold I break out a trench coat and wear a hat.
Outside an occasionally colorful shirt, I prefer darker tones. I leave the colorful stuff to accessories; and if applicable, makeup, to provide a contrast.

Jeans (black or dark blue) and tops mostly. When going out I wear more special looking and more revealing tops but I don't wear skirts. Ever. During winter I just add layers of jumpers according to the amount of minus degrees. Oh and a wool jacket is a must, preferrably the longer type
When I need to be more formal, I wear longer sleeved shirts but not some potato sacks. Turtle necked shirts can look pretty good too.
I'm a bit boring with colors...mostly favoring black and white but I like red, brown and shades of purple. Sometimes even pink unless it's barbie pink.

Nothing exciting here: tee shirt or polo shirt, jeans, sandals. Might wear a pullover if it's cold or slightly less jeans-like jeans if I feel like looking smarter, but nothing especially fancy.

I'm a funny t-shirt kind of girl. I have a collection of subtly funny shirts that I am (happily) able to wear to work, unless we have a client visit (most are from shirt.woot.com).
I wish people would stop trying to buy me funny shirts. They usually fail miserably.

Five years ago when I was in High School I wore a lot of gay pride stuff painted my nails bright fluorescent colors (I'm a guy) and had my hair a different color practically every couple weeks. Now that I'm a bit older and have calmed down a bit and have a job and all that jazz, I pretty much just wear what's comfortable. I still like some bright colors and still bleach my hair from time to time, but that's about as funky as I'll get. Other than that just really baggy comfy clothes. Comfort is much more important than style for me.

Casual: Shorts or sweats + tank top or t-shirt + nike running shoes
Less Casual: Jeans + tank top+t-shirt + dr martens
I have a few suits for nicer things, but their uses are rare enough I don't really consider them part of my "wardrobe".
Sometimes I add a Hoodie(usually sports team) or where a Pea Coat. I have a lot of video game/music/sports/internet t-shirts I wear. I don't think I have any "style-ish" shirts like A&F, Hollister, American Eagle, etc.

Jeans. And hoodies. Though if I'm at home, I just throw on some jogging bottoms and look like a chav. If it's summer, I might even go crazy and wear a nice feminine top.

Usually I like to wear jeans, a t-shirt and one of my many hats.
That being said, I do love to suit up and I have a few ties that match my more formal/showy hats.
