just wondering what shotgun suits jack and jacob best because i always thought the geth plasma shotgun suited tali best because she's a quarian.

if we are not talking about style choices, geth plasma shotgun for everyone.

your comrades lack proper ai routines to perform manouvers like closing by using cover, then shotgunning at point black range and retreat.

so a weapon that also works outside of melee range is preferable, hence geth plasma shotgun.

GPS is the optimal weapon for Jack and Jacob due to its range and the reasons stated above. I usually equip them with it when playing as an Engineer or Adept to strip defenses quickly. With other classes such as Soldier or Infiltrator which can dish out massive damage (Revenant, Claymore, Widow) I'll equip them with hand cannons for range or the Scimitar shotgun.

I also give Jacob Improved Barrier for survival when he's doing his close quarters thing with his shotgun.

I prefer Jacob to polish all of the shotguns in the armory while the real team members are out doing missions.

I think the Eviscerator looks alright. That's what everyone on my squad usually has. Scimitar and Katana look ok too. Really there isn't a huge amount of difference in how good they look.
