Guild wars has a single player mode where you only see people in the hubs. Could do something like that
Yeah, this^
If Bioware made it traditional like SWTOR, I wouldnt like it. If they ever do an MMO in this universe, I'd sincerely hope they'll change the game a little and make it an evolution of the genre to a degree. I would expect many different ways to play so that as many people can get into it.
IDK after seeing how good SWTOR has become IMO, I realize how much I would love to see a "well made" ME MMO later down the line. Just curious how you all felt, I see its pretty split down the middle

I'd like a combat system like Guild wars 2. It's not auto attack and you can dodge and roll while attacking.Deltaboy37-1 wrote...

but i wouldn´t mind a multiplayer shooter like battlefield 3 with a good singleplayer campaign storywise and tight gameplay mechanics
most of all i would prefer another rpg/shooter mix like we have right now with another story arc

I'd sooner they just stick with expanding the universe in another series of single player RPGs. It's what I bought the first Mass Effect for, and if that universe and franchise continues to expand beyond ME3 I want to just get stronger and stronger with each step. I've never played an MMO that's matched a single player RPG in terms of depth and quality, and even if there was one out there I don't want to pay a monthly fee for it, especially when Bioware's single player RPGs have enough re-playability to them to keep a person hooked for years.

I personally think the endeavor at this point isn't worth it, I would like to see more mass effect multiplayer games but on a smaller scale then an actual MMO. Maybe a hybrid between an MMO and a single player. And no SWTOR isn't like that, it's very much a traditional MMO. Which works for TOR, but it would not work for Mass Effect.
I'd rather they stick to the single player/multiplayer thing. But if they really want to do it I'd keep an eye on it but I wouldn't hold too many hopes.

Besides How would it be implemented? Mass Effect has always been about choice. And every player makes different choices, that would mean that their would a lot of variants of the MMO if it were set in a future after ME3

KotOR was amazing and there's a lot of merit to SWToR but the fact that they made the gameplay so much like WoW really killed it for me.
Give me a ME game I can play with friends online and I'd be overjoyed. Give me another WoW clone with an ME skin and I'll lose all faith in BioWare. Its bad enough that they did it once.
