Yes, oh god yes I would. It'd have to be set after ME3 though, but I would be all over that so hard it's not even funny.

For sure, although I worry it would end up like WoW, where there wouldn't be anymore iterations of the single-player part of the series ever again.

Plus, I think MMOs in general have problems right now. Few can actually compete with WoW, and then ones that can't end up moving from the traditional subscription system to some item mall crap. There isn't much originality, and basically everything boils down to a grind eventually because devs generally can't make content as quickly as people want.

I haven't tried SW:TOR, but, from what I've heard, it's not the earth-shattering, revolutionary game people thought it would be. Supposedly it's just an okay alternative to WoW.

I'd give it one free trial. It had better do its best to hook me.

Probably not. I can't get into them. They swamp you with tons of info and toolbars without letting you get accustomed to them. I was hoping SWTOR would be different, but alas, it was not. I just can't deal with all the micromanagement all over the screen.

The only MMO I ever enjoyed was Planetside. And that one was just as bad with the pop-up screens. Still, it didn't auto-close them, and they were explicit. Unlike WoW and SWTOR. For me, anyways. I'm tempted to take a gander at GW2, because I briefly enjoyed the first one at a friends house 6 years ago or so.

So, it's possible, but rather unlikely.

If it was on the consoles? Sure, unless its not a good game. I'd rather play a Borderlands spinoff of Mass Effect then pay another $10-20 like that piece of trash PSU or FFXI.

Yes! And after diving into SWTOR even more yes, because I know even though SWTOR is great the team around ME is even better at creating a story background and characters with incredible depth to them. 100% yes!

I feel the same. Swtor is a hell of a game and if ME got the same treatment I would be happy as long as they don't kill off the console games.

I'd give it a try to be sure. I'm having fun on SW; TOR but considering the time and cost BW put into that game the odds of it happening are pretty high and even if it does get green lit it will be years down the road.

Never.

Don't have enough time as it is. Plus, monthly fees...

Monthly fees arent guaranteed though, most MMOs today are F2P (Free to play~for newbies)

Delta your playing Swtor right? What server are you on?

That's for the best I think. I would want the tech to get better before they try it. Maybe a few generations down the line.

After what WoW did to my soul, I'm going to have to say no. I'll stick with Mass Effect 1-3.

I'd sooner they just stick with expanding the universe in another series of single player RPGs. It's what I bought the first Mass Effect for, and if that universe and franchise continues to expand beyond ME3 I want to just get stronger and stronger with each step. I've never played an MMO that's matched a single player RPG in terms of depth and quality, and even if there was one out there I don't want to pay a monthly fee for it, especially when Bioware's single player RPGs have enough re-playability to them to keep a person hooked for years.

I agree as well.

I don't play any game that requires pay to play. It's bull****.
