Same with DA2. I can't remember the original release date, but if I remember correctly, it was pretty close with Witcher and Skyrim: both fantasy RPG's. So they had to rush it. It sucks, but such is the way of the industry.

Yeah I don't remember DA2 getting pushed up. I thought March 8th was always the release they were going for.

Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing the Grim Skulls:

The vehicle had been taken over by a group called the Grim Skulls. Some of them were posted in prepared positions around the behemoth. They were dressed in skull-shaped helmets and medium armor that was painted to make them look like skeletons.

SO GRIM. AND SKULLY.

Every time I go to double check a quote that is obviously a parody it turns out to be real. :crying:

PS. Could we all STFU about DA2, seriously in this thread? Drop it now children.

DIIIIEEEEETTTZZZZ

Ohoho! Apparently biotics are the new Geth!

And yet the Quarians were sheltering Gillian for so long! If only they had known!

Oh Mr. Dietz...

I mean, imagine the sight of 10 biotics in a room just standing there! The static electricity between them, plus the infamous asari air-kisses, would be enough to power entire cities. Cities!

The sub-plot conclusion for those L2s dating back to ME1 suddenly becomes quite clear! Burns is reintegrating them by putting them to work on Power Plants! :wizard:

That's Omega? I've just reread LotSB dossiers and this one was in Aria's section:

Flin,
Here's what I want set up for next month:
<...>4. Hanar Jugglers: Before you sent me the vid, I thought you were joking. Book them. I could use a laugh.

So I assume Grim Skulls serve similar purpose?

Hmm... Yeah. My mistake. But the Wicher 2 was released in May 17th, so maybe they tried to beat that? idk

And forget my comment about Skyrim, it's release was always 11/11/11, so it had probably nothing to do with DA2's release... but maybe we should cut the OT before it gets out of hand?

"Gillian could sense the power of the other woman's personality and was enveloped by the heady perfume she wore as they exchanged asari-style air kisses. The air crackled with electricity as the biotics came together and parted."

Hot.

Agreed. Wrestling isn't the same without him.

I think the problem is none of the devs bothered to look at it... They tought "dietz can handle it all"...

At least that is what I keep telling myself, because if they seriously did greenlight this after reading it...

:(

You know by the time we get done quoting all the ridiculous bits of the book the whole thing is going to end up reproduced in the thread.

I don't think it was, at least not intentionally. That's the sad part.

Jim Ross narrating Deception would make me buy the audiobook.

Likely. Cause every line is pretty lame.

Shepard-"Hey Liara/Miranda, lets share Asari-style air kisses."

Miri/Liara-"What the hell are those? / Shepard, asari don't air kiss."

Shepard-"Oh, I read about it in this book this one time..."

It may be a small, ultimately meaningless act but I went to Deception's Amazon page and made sure to disagree with the tag that this is related to Mass Effect. If we spare just one person....

Especially the whole Quarian/Batarian fight in the beginning.

"A SHOT TO THE HEAD BY THE BATARIANS! What!? They're going after Gillian!? NO! SHE'S A WOMAN! UNHAND HER! SONOFAB-
WAIT A MINUTE! GILLIAN WITH THE LEVEL 3 WARP! YES! YES! SHE'S GOT THEM NOW! 1! 2! 3! IT'S ALL OVER! GILLIAN WINS! GILLIAN WINS!"

In other words, I would definitely buy an audio version narrated by JR.
