If Casey really did read and greenlight it that is Lucas kind of error in judgement... The guy basically just let some ignoramus trash his own hard work and established lore and turn it into unintelligent smudge, and he doesnt seem care!

Bioware really really really really REALLY needs to hire some main lore guy there for ME, that checks these facts and knows every little detail!! This is getting ridiculous... it's not fans job to patch up these errors!!

There's a Broker dossier that people have assumed says he has a kid. I've always thought it was just talking about the fact that his ex-wife had a son with her new husband, and Anderson has stayed in contact and knows the kid, who looks up to him because he's a big important space dude.
