Because after seeing some of the plot details of this train wreck I need to purge something...preferably with fire.

Been done but the more the merrier.
Video of burning the book is here :D

No no no.

I mean purge the author with fire.

Or have him fall on his sword pen if he has any honor.

Just heard of one?

Did it involve a sharpened toothbrush?

Yeah...that.

Of all characters to be killed that way, it had to be that one too.

The one who gets built up as one of the most awesomesauce characters in their particular category ever.

Yeah.

That particular person? Killed by a ****ing toothbrush? After all that?

What's wrong with you, Dietz?

Could someone PM me the big spoilers, after seeing this thread I've realized that this would be a bad purchase.

Poor Chris Priestly, On Tuesday he has to make a sticky post telling us all that this "wonderful" book has been released and we should all go buy it...man i hope he showers after that.

Joe, you're truly on a barrel roll.

Anyways, we had this giant discussion regarding amps and implants, though this is how the book itself defined it:

The asari were natural biotics although some were
more skilled than others. But for other races, including
the krogan, turians, salarians, and humans, biotic
abilities were the result of exposure to element zero,
or eezo. And most if not all biotics were equipped
with implants called Bio- amps that served to amplify
and synchronize their talents. Such individuals were
classifi ed as Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3, according to
their strength and stability. Nick was an Level 2 and
had been working out at The Cube in hopes of qualifying
as an Level 3.

Did Nick use Blutz Waves to hit SSJ4? Or was it by just being super angry?

Who's brilliant idea was it to switch to a new author in the first place? Drew Karpyshyn had a very good hand on the universe, while Dietz clearly didn't if there are this many errors. From what I've read, the mistakes are something anyone could have solved in about an hour of browsing either the ME Wiki, or just reading the book! This "book" isn't canon anymore, it's fan fiction, plain and simple. BioWare, if you have any sense what so ever, you will eject this book from the canon universe and stop selling it as it just makes a mockery of your entire universe. I only found out about this from the Wiki, see the link below. So I may be echoing a few things from there, but there are already a few valid points, and I'm sure they are already here as well.

It was because Drew was moved, or moved himself, to the TOR project.

And it isn't really fan fiction... because he'd have to be a fan.
