And yet
another is the William Dietz is a terrible hack. When I was reading it
the thing that struck me the most was that even if such a thing was
being sold, and TiM found out about it, I don't thing he would care.
Because it's totally unbelievable that it could exist.

It's
also, in case this is lost on anyone, AN EPISODE OF CHUCK. Which I think
perhaps Dietz watched while he was writing this section. The timing
actually works out pretty well.

Well that's the actual answer, but I was trying to come up with an explanation that would work in a better book.

Oh, well then what I said. Occam's razor. It's a hoax that TiM shouldn't pay any attention to. What is he, a scared? He's probably a scared.

Your half correct on me. I can sacrifice a few bucks for a bad book. If its bad then well just let me experience it. I'm on the ladder though that its just not consistant with the past books.

Me in the future IT BURNS

Wouldn't it be funny if some of the characters who dies in this book, returns in ME3 like nothing happened?

it'll be funny to see Aria being a kickass biotic when in this book she is depicted as needing assistance to put up a barrier

You really shouldn't let this book taint your experience. If you like Mass Effect, you'll probably like the other three books. Most people here did at least.

Try reading the excerpts for those. You're sure to find them if you look for them.

Also, glad you guys like the sigs! (Dammit, my sig space is all filled up! :()

Maybe this will nail the Quarian outpost in Omega.

XX. Quarian ships visit Omega on regular basis and maintain a warehouse - Migrant fleet is always moving from system to system because Quarians are still technically at war with the geth.
Sometimes Quarian ships may stop on a planet to trade resources but they do not maintain permanent outposts or warehouses on planets or *star ports.

* Quarian consulate in the Citadel may be an expection but cannot be confirmed before ME3 is released.

Edit: If there isn't Quarian consulate in ME3, it's another error because in Deception they Citadel Council allows Quarians to have one on Citadel.

Alternate "script"
I'll give this a crack let me know what you guys think?
Kai Leng silently entered the apartment, careful not to draw any attention to his activities. He quickly locked the door behind him and before he stepped further into the apartment he made a note to take a mental picture of everything he saw as to ensure that if he had to touch or move something he would remember where it originally stood.

The apartment was the typical open style environment separated by a few walls and floor to ceiling glass windows. The glass was an older style semi-opaque panel that could be set to allow less or more light depending on various external factors or the owner's taste. From where he was standing he could see an elegantly styled kitchen on the right side of the room only separated from the rest  by a wall with a classic vid fire place. In the centre of the room was a receding living space with two couches and a holo-tv on the wall. The bathroom and bedroom were off to his left separated again by the older style semi-opague glass.

Kai Leng began searching the room, purposely looking right to left. It was an old military trick he had learn during his time as an Alliance N7 Special Forces Marine.
"Our eyes are inherently taught to reading books, magazines, holo displays, everything left to right from a young age..." He remember his instructor saying.
"Studies have shown that we tend to miss things when we do this. As an N7 Marine you cannot afford to miss things."

He started in the kitchen carefully opening drawers and cabinets searching for anything out of the ordinary which given the nature of the individual who owned the apartment, Captain David Anderson one of the Alliances most decorated Special Forces Officer and a representative here on the Citadel, he might find anything. Sure enough Leng opened the door's under the kitchen sink and found an Alliance issued M-5 Phalanx heavy pistol attached to the bottom of the marble sink. A formidable weapon in the right hands. After inspecting it Leng was careful to place it exactly in the same position he had retrieved it from.

Leng moved to a desk near the living area. There was a holo-cluster on the desk, they were very common appliance in today's apartment's. Displaying the current time and date, room tempurature, air quality, calendar, notes and a few other custom settings. More importantly there was a vid message in the inbox. Leng looked through all four messages but it was the most recent one that caught his attention. He pressed the play button and stood back. A half-meter image of a young boy snapped into focus. Leng tilted his head, he knew this boy...

It was the same kid he'd used to help him capture Paul Grayson at the Acension Project on the Grissom Academy space station. He was forced to use him as a human shield and later as a bargaining chip to secure his escape from the facility. He rubbed the tender spot on his leg that he still had from where David Anderson had shot him. He would get his revenge, when the time came there was no measure to how fast and how hard he would bring the fight to Anderson and anyone else foolish enough to get in this way.

The boy said he had left to join some kind of group. "The Biotic Underground", in-order to try to change the way the Galaxy see's and treats the Biotic community. Kai Leng quickly put two and two together, David and Kahlee must have gone to C-Sec for assistance in locating him. If the kid was still on the Citadel he might be worth capturing again for the same purpose as before if an opportunity presented itself.

10 Minutes had passed and Kai Leng had completed his search of Anderson's apartment. Aside from the pistol, some clothing that he believed belonged to Kahlee Sanders a woman he had encountered back at the Grissom Academy and the message from the boy nothing else peaked his interest. He quickly triple checked everything he had touched, referencing it's original position and then he discreetly placed a small monitoring device just above the holo-tv in the living room. It would provide a wide angled video image of almost the entire apartment.

He left the apartment as quickly as he'd entered, none was the wiser to his presence. Just the way he liked it, out of sight, out of mind...

So what do you guys think?

-Hawk

True, but for now we keep to the stuff that's out and that we know, otherwise it turns to a big speculation doc. It already has many glaring mistakes we can prove, let alone things that might prove fake come Mass Effect 3. :P

Also, it wouldn't surprise me that the quarian embassy thing came from an inside doc that explained the ending to Mass Effect 3, and that he completely misinterpreted. Oh, the possibilities! :D

Thanks for the add. I wonder if Didy can find more issues regarding Quarians in Deception.
What comes to me, I think that was the last error posted earlier in this thread but not yet added to list.

That was # 53. Makes me wonder how many there are going to be after the novel is actually out. :P

(SPOILER) In the preview of the book the quarian cruiser Idenna comes under attack by a slaver ship and disables it? I thought the Idenna was a cruiser, which is one step below dreadnought as far as ship firepower goes. That must be some pirate ship to be able to withstand attack from a cruiser long enough to disable its engines and board it.

The Khar’shan was powered by a standard Tantalus Drive Core and equipped with H- fuel cells that could deliver the extra power required to stop the hail of incoming projectiles

“Two disruptor torpedoes are coming our way, Captain. ETA one minute and twenty- two seconds.” Adroni nodded. “Fire four interceptors. Two apiece. That should take care of it.” And he was correct. Both of the incoming missiles were destroyed in a pair of overlapping explosions

“Fire the drive killers.”

See, it all makes sense know. Dietzean sci-fi at it's best. You just throw about of words at the problems. All you need to do to defeat any warship is just press some buttons. It's all magic anyways.
