All those "Errors in ME Deception" are from the actual book? That you hold in your hands?
Some from excerpt and then checked with book, some directly from book.

Just to play Devil's Advocate for a moment, there may have been some circumstances that would explain this.
The book may have been rushed, and Dietz may not have had time to properly check and correct mistakes.
Hudson and Walters may have been too busy on ME3 (Hudson in particular seems to be a very very person, as you'd expect from the lead) for Dietz to spend any decent time hashing out these issues.
The worse possibility is that some of these ideas came from Hudson and Walters and will rear their ugly heads in ME3. If an 18 year old Gillian or Nick show up in ME3, we'll know who's responsible (assuming they're alive at the end of Deception, I have no idea).
A considerable number of errors are exactly what you'd expect if the author had limited access to source material and insufficient time to properly comprehend it. Perhaps BioWare had a date in mind and hired an author who could get something, anything, out in time, without paying any attention to the quality of it.
None of this excuses crappy writing, but it may suggest some of the particularly egregious continuity errors are a by-product of the whole process, through the author, to BioWare to marketing and maybe Dietz never stood a chance.

Maybe Bioware could slip in a cereal joke into Kai Leng's codex entry.

So how do you'll think ME3'll reference the events of Deception?

Kai Leng looks like he'll be in it. Wouldn't be surprised if other characters show up and the events of the novel are explained in 'Investigate'.HiroVoid wrote...

Nope I pre-ordered the book back in July and it was known of as early as April 2011 at least. Less than a year may not seem like long but we aren't talking high quality literature.

I don't think the cereal thing is necessarily that bad.
The way it's written is completely laughable, but I kind of like the concept. Although it does feel like it belongs somewhere else, like a Tarantino movie.

A great author could have made that work, sadly it seems Dietz isn't.
