Mentioned earlier by someone else(believe it was didy) but I'll bring it up again-

Ugho, a quarian in both Ascension and Deception-

Ascension- One of three quarians, along with Isli and Seeto, that were escorting Kahlee and crew around the Idenna(you might remember Seeto as the kind one doing all the talking and keeping Gillian happy while Ugho was quiet). All three(Seeto, Isli, and Ugho) get killed when Cerberus boards.

Deception- Ugho is alive and is the head of the security team aboard the Idenna. He gets killed when batarians board.

LOLWUT. Wonder how the wikia will handle that.

I'm less concerned that Aria forgot she'd met Kai Leng a month or two earlier, and more worried that she forgot she's a biotic.

And somehow was allowed to travel to Thessia.

And somehow acquired hundreds of family members who all use the same fake name, despite having severed contacts with everybody in her life centuries ago.

Edit:  And somehow STILL associates with Cerberus in Invasion, dsepite knowing an operative killed her daughter - an operative that The Illusive Man helped escape Omega.

Did Walters and Dietz coordinate on this at all?!

Sounds like a certain author didn't play Mass 1...

Mass Effect 3- Ugho is alive again and still head of security. He gets killed when Conrad Verner boards.

On a more serious note, I can't believe even more errors have been found since last night. It's like the gift that keeps on giving...

....and all the gifts suck.

I thought you were about to compare this novel to an STD/STI. Rofl.

The cereal thing is one of the few bright spots, IMHO. It's memorable, it's human, and it's one of the few bits where Dietz "shows not tells". What's not to like about the Cereal Killer?

*shakes head*

Sorry, but I'm lost for words. I don't know where to start when it comes to Dietz. He obviously cared jacksh*t when he wrote the book.

And he got payed for this hurts me even more.

He didn't describe the taste of the cereal. I guess its an open plot thread for the follow up novel he won't write(hopefully).

I added a 'special thanks' section to the OP. Doubtless I've forgotten half the names I ought to have listed so feel free to PM me for recognition. I'll be at my campus for fifteen hours today though, so I will be slow to reply.

Yeah, I hope Chris doesn't decide to lock this down and start an 'official' thread. We won't be able to keep that document in the OP if so.

Ascension- "The bodies of Isli, Seeto, and Ugho lay just beyond it." Page 331

Deception- "Ugho wasn't known for his sociability, so Gillian knew that rather than a "chat" she was about to receive some orders." Page 34

Erm...

The "glass-half-full" interpretation: this might be an indication that Deception is being internally ignored.

Yeah, dead people tend to be fairly antisocial.

Wow... some of the errors in this book could've been explained, but now it's at the point where it's basically impossible for this book to co-exist with the canon; either the rest of the universe is right, or this book is. The only way to accept both is to look at the book as belonging to an entirely alternative universe of ME (I don't mean alternative "playthrough" - that would be liberal - I mean entirely different damn universe).

Gillian must have serious mental issues if she's taking orders from a quarian zombie.

EDIT- Never mind, she'll just get over it with time.

Probably will...god forbid the "Offical" thread be filled with absolutely NOTHING but negagtive "whining" from the BSN...afterall everyone on BSN is nothing but illogical, raging, sexist, whining, haters that threaten Fire and Pitchforks anytime they disagree with something. At least according to Trolls who post here :P

So...we've already had possible references/inspiration from Chuck & Dexter. And now we're in South Park territory (?)

I'm surprised there wasn't a "oh my god, those bastards killed Ugho..." line somewhere in there.

It would make zero sense to start a new thread anyway because it's just gonna be filled with the same negative reactions and content that this thread has.
