This book is about as welcome as a bath turd.

You don't like bath turds? Posted Image

No one in this thread does, otherwise we wouldn't be criticizing Deception.

Uhh... you know I was joking, right LP?

No.

Way.

I thought you actually thought we all liked Deception.

Lots of "errors" in the Google doc are in fact wrong themselves. How can I fix these errors or completely remove them?

Is Drew involved in ME3 in any way? Didn't Mac Walters consult on this book? If he let the errors in this book pass, then I'd be extremely concerned if he was fully in charge of ME3's writing. Especially considering the leaked script.

Drew had nothing to do with it. As far as I can tell, nor did Mac. And as far as I have read, the second leak has some damn fine writing in it anyway.

Don't let "Deception" cloud judgment of the franchise. Merely how its tie-in procedures are handled.

Please consult Yuoaman or didymos or LPPrince to that end. It's invite-only due to trolling. I'd help but I'm busy with school today.

But of course!

I really wish I did though. But I just can't.

It's just like didymos says, there's no way of fitting this book with all the rest of the canon. It's either keeping this one book and destroy everything else, or (preferably) disavowing this and keep the others intact.

There's no way Mac Walters had the time to scrutinize this novel. Not with writing the game and Invasion.

Drew has no formal involvement in ME3. He did invent most of the lore, however, with Walters and some of the other writers a few years ago.

Walters and Casey Hudson were the Bioware liasons for Dietz, as best we can tell. They presumably were responsible for ensuring it was consistent with the rest of the IP.

I wouldn't be worried about ME3's script. Some odd character choices aside, it all at least makes reasonable sense lore-wise, and the Bioware team do employ actual editors who make sure the grammar and style is correct. Also, failure to see Deception's glaring mistakes doesn't mean Walters would necessarily make them himself. I've even enjoyed most of his work in ME2 and Invasion.

Obvious choice is the latter, but its up to Bioware.

Who can be called Biowhere right now since they've been awfully quiet...

Because this novel didn't happen. It's the only way it can work.

I'm sorry. I assumed... Well that's silly. Have you sent Yuoaman a PM? (I originally that that doc was your creation, even.)

Anyway, off to class.

Ascension- "The bodies of Isli, Seeto, and Ugho lay just beyond it." Page 331

Deception- "Ugho wasn't known for his sociability, so Gillian knew that rather than a "chat" she was about to receive some orders." Page 34

Erm...

Yeah, dead people tend to be fairly antisocial.

Gillian must have serious mental issues if she's taking orders from a quarian zombie.

EDIT- Never mind, she'll just get over it with time.

I have access, but since the doc isn't mine, I'd rather Yuoaman do it. Unless he gives me permission to add people.

21. Asari are told to be asexual - in ME1 Liara describes asari as mono-gender, all female species.

26. Crouds in the Citidel chambers

though this is true revelation does state the asari as asexual so he gets the point for that one.

That is also described in revelation as it states when the ambasador is called she notes that the spectators seats are empty.

Since I'm pretty sure my Shepard has engaged in some sort of congress with Liara, I don't think anyone gets the point for this. Revelation was finalized before ME1 was released. Both games clearly state that Asari are an all-female race. They are definitely not asexual.

The deffinition of asexual fits both ME revelation and ME1-3

source dictionary.com

a·sex·u·al   [ey-sek-shoo-uhPosted Imagel] sexual organs. b. independent of sexual especially not involving the union of male and female germ cells. 2. free from or unaffected by sexuality: an asexual friendship

I'm not defending him but the points are kind of correct according to drew's work.
