Which is why he should've been kept on the ME project.

Anyway, according to Dietz, biotics are improved by practice and use. They are designated in levels, similar to Super Saiyans in Dragon Ball Z/GT.

My favorite part of this debacle was going to be watching Lancer1289 have a breakdown trying to heard the cats over on the wiki post-release.

However, initial observation seems to suggest that he/she is way more clinical and unflappable than even I thought.  Dissapointing.

I'm not defending him but the points are kind of correct according to drew's work.

Again, and I hate to keep having this argument with people. The codex in the game states verbablly out loud that the Asari are female. They are not sexless They also clearly have an interest in sex, which is the main part of the definition of the word asexual. I know that Drew uses to word in Revelation, but that is actually the only time it is ever used.

You can try wrote your opinion, why they are wrong, here first. If you get good counter argument,  
they will be erase, it happenned before, but mostly this mistake succesfully defended themselves.

For anyone who wants access to the Doc just PM me their Gmail so they can be added to the list. If you take issue with one of the entries on the list I'd recommend moving it to the "Needs more research" area at the end, but leaving the number intact if it's decided to move it back into the main list at a later time.

Regarding canon: even if the timing issues are hand-waved and Bioware never mention Deception again, and never refer to any of its events, I'd still be pretty upset at what happened in the novel if it stays canon.

Because characters would still be dead, or straight, or magically healed from autism, when they shouldn't be. The protagonists Karpyshyn crafted were treated abysmally, and even if all their stories end here, it shouldn't be like this.

And to reiterate again: "Revelation did it" does not make these things correct. Revelation has outdated stuff in it due to it being written and published well before ME1 had finished production. The fact that he lifted stuff right out of that novel only further serves to demonstrate how Dietz just skimmed through prior materials and didn't do adequate research.

I am interested to see how the very exacting wiki admins handle Deception, particularly when its timeline is so well and truly FUBAR.

Yeah, it would take quite a bit to make this fit in canon - if anything I imagine a "broad strokes" ruling will take place. That most of the events happened, but the character motivations fit with established characters, and none of the silly stuff happened. I'm looking at you, Kai Leng.
