I haven't felt this put off by a book (would have used the word 'outraged' yesterday) since I read The Final Warning by James Patterson. I was a young chap, invested in what was a pretty good series and then one book turns me off the whole thing completely. It was just bad. Baaaaad.
Kinda like this. Luckily, this doesn't put me off the series though seeing as who wrote it.

Dunno who Marisa is, but I thought it was implied in earlier novels that Hendel was homosexual.

No, she's with Nick.  You know, to motivate him to do...stuff.

And how that... female Barla Von, what was her name, Mythra Zon?.. fits here? Or Nick is just after everything that moves?

Nah, Nick only exchanged 'Asari Air Kisses' with Barla Von when it came down to it. This chick is his twu wuv.

Not his fault. She's an asari with magical sex voodoo and stuff:

However, Nick's infatuation with Zon was more than a case of teenage hormones run amok. There was an energy around the female. Something that emanated from deep inside her. Part of that could be attributed to her status as an adept. A level of biotic ability far superior to Nick's. Still, the attraction was more than that however. Zon's natural charisma was such that people of all races were drawn to her.

With a LEVEL THREE "explosion", which is stronger version of "warp"!

After what Dietz has done I wonder what Karpyshyn will think of how the plot and characters he developed in 3 books end up. Also LPPRINCE could you be more specific on the ending pretty please??

I can't wait to get the freaking book in my hands. I can't wait, I'm so hype! Of course, most of all I just wanna join ya'll in the pain, but that's a kind of hype, no? xD

Please, don't waste your money. Unless you're the type that enjoys bad literature, in which case, buy several copies and share them with your friends.

Well, I wouldn't pay for it if I hadn't already paid for it, so to speak. It's on its way to my house and has been for a few days now. Might get it today x)

So, whats worse-

Twilight(any of the novels or the whole series if you desire) or Deception?

Twilight has a loyal fanbase, Deception does not. Just saying.

Yeah I feel sorry for all the BW writers, really =\\ In a way, I feel sorry for Dietz getting flamed like this on here, too. But it's not quite the same. Drew and Mac were so innocent! [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/crying.png[/smilie]

Dietz isn't getting flamed. If he was, we'd all be saying much more horrible things like-

Wait, NO. Why would I give examples. rofl

He's being heavily criticized though, as is deserved for this novel.

I mean good grief. NOW I can sympathize with those who hated Halo: The Flood.

Side note-

After Halo: The Flood, Bungie got Eric Nylund, the author of the book prior to The Flood, to return to make the next novel.

And by the way, I don't think anyone here believes Dietz is a terrible author. At least, I don't. I bet he has great novels, its just that hiring him to do work on game novels and the like probably leads to disaster more often than not.

I bet his own stories are wonderful. Give him something that someone else wrote though, and some things get lost in translation.

Didy, at this rate you could make youtube videos of horrible quotes from the book with explanations as to why they make zero sense.

It's not Dietz's fault that someone actually hired him to regurgitate this wretched horse manure-like combination of words.

Funnily enough, I was gonna ask anyone who read both(or parts of both) to say which was worse.
