Guys, I need a little help with number 60.

The thing is, we don't know when in the timeline this fits at all. This could be after Invasion, for all we know. (Oh, and inb4 "This isn't in the timeline!" yeah, we know!)

Also, in Incursion, despite the Blue Suns having the deal with the Collectors, which she clearly disapproves of, she still allows the Blue Suns to stay afterward. The same thing could happen here in the case of Cerberus. Given, it's a much more serious (if personal) offense to her, but I don't know how far she'd let this slide if the profits from Cerberus were keeping Omega running. Then again, some group or individual as rich and powerful could easily take their place, and I'm sure there's no shortage of dodgy people willing to do so.

Given that she realizes Kai Leng was the one responsible, she could just as easily mount a manhunt for him and leave the rest of Cerberus alone. Right?

Aria isn't in the Omega after the events of Invasion.

^ This - Invasion definitely takes place after Deception, that is absolutely certain.

How exactly would she have regained Omega back from Cerberus and then still proceed to do business with them? Additionally, the ending of Invasion states that Aria's story will be continued in Mass Effect 3 (and if Deception took place after ME3,  that would be the biggest clustf*** EVER......  )

To say something positive about this. This is so obvious conflict this would give BioWare a reason to remove Deception from canon. Especially if Invasion plot continues in ME3.

More or less because Deception DOESN'T MAKE ANY FLIPPING SENSE IN ANY TIMELINE EVER.

Inquisition is the mini-comic with Bailey.  Conviction is the mini-comic with Vega.

Inquisition - Bailey is protagonist
Conviction - Vega is recruited by Anderson
Invasion - Aria/Cerberus mess

I must admit, I had to look up the names to connect them to the comics' events. It gets very confusing past a certain point.

It also takes place before Mass Effect 2.

These statements are both supportable by time references that Dietz makes in the book.

They should quickly slip in a page in the end that says "And then Kai Leng wakes up in his bed. It was all a dream. A terrible, nonsensical nightmare. But it's over now, and nothing happened. Huzzah and thanks for reading this mess." . It would be the best solution.

Well then, the galaxy is doing pretty f***ing well without Shepard helping them with the Reapers, aren't they? :P

Deception takes place two years after Mass Effect 1, and six years after Ascension, which takes place two months after Mass Effect 1. Reconcile that, Mac Walters.

From what I've gleaned, I'm pretty sure its internal timeline doesn't make sense either.
