Let me ask this question, since it was brought up recently in the errors list that Kai Leng was supposedly part of the "Alliance Marine Corps" (which do not exist at all...) - was Leng's ties as a former N7 soldier mentioned at all in Deception, or was that "Marine Corps" crap the closest thing we get to it?

From the book:

He’d been a marine lieutenant back then. A member of the Alliance military who had been rated N6. Meaning that he was an elite special forces operative.

“The same sort of things you did as a member of the Alliance Marine Corps

Aria uses a "modified subsurface torpedo" to destroy her rival's base of operations on Omega.

Can that be counted as an error or is that just suicidal stupidity on her part?!

Isn't that correct, though? Isn't N6 just one rank below N7 in the Special Forces ranking system?

Six is kind of like seven! It's in the same general area. I'd say it's about as close to accuracy as we're going to get.

From Ascension:

Cerberus had discovered Kai Leng a decade ago, liberating him from an Alliance prison camp. The Illusive Man had looked carefully into his past before recruiting him: a marine with N7 special forces training,

Aria isn't in the Omega after the events of Invasion.

I hate myself for even thinking about this but...

Do you think that at the end of Invasion, Aria fled to Thessia to meet the T'loaks? If so, everything is explained! Invasion and Deception are happening at the same time! Within a warped timeline! Hahaha... ha... ha...

THIS BOOK MAKES NO SENSE!
