KROGAN DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!

I want someone telling Thane about this method, since for him killing krogan is a problem, judging by LotSB dossier.

Who actually enjoyed it? I can say it's so bad it's good.

Some lady on twitter thought it was pretty good.  Just a few timeline issues.

I don't think that big hump is just there for decoration either.

I don't remember the Flood being nearly as bad as Deception.

Funnily enough, I was gonna ask anyone who read both(or parts of both) to say which was worse.

I read the fifty-page excerpt, and I read the Flood a few years back. It's night and day in terms of sentence structure, grammar, lore knowledge... I don't know. I didn't expect much from Dietz, but this breaks all records.

Just go read the Krogan: Biology codex entry and you'll see the other big problem with that.

Opinions can't inherently be wrong.

But she's wrong.

I remember Casey tweeting how cool it was, too. I mean, I know he has to market the thing if he mentions it, but... still :D

"Physically, the krogan are nigh-indestructible, with a tough hide impervious to any melee weapon short of a molecular blade."

Physically, the krogan are nigh-indestructible, with a tough hide impervious to any melee weapon short of a molecular blade. While they feel pain, it does not affect their ability to concentrate. They have multiple functioning examples of all major organs, and can often survive the loss of one or two of any type. Rather than a nervous system, they have an electrically conductive second circulatory system. A krogan can never be paralyzed - they may lose some fluid, but it can be replaced by the body in time.
The hump on krogan's back stores water and fats that help the krogan survive lean times. Large humps are a point of pride; being well-fed implies the krogan is a superior predator.

As you know, Kai Leng eating cereal while at Anderson's makes him more believable as a character!
No, this is more than a 'kink'. This is a butchering of the portrayal we've been presented with so far. I'm not even talking about this scene in particular but from all that I've read. This guy will only be known as Leng.

I am talking about that scene in particular.

Since when are badasses or killers disallowed from liking cereal?
Since when are they dissalowed to rummage around a house if they want to do so?

I can't really see this as "runing his character".
Doing things that CLEARY and SPECIFICLY are against his character (some other events from the novel) is antoher thing.

The only thing which so far separates Deception of being pinnacle of bad fanfiction is lack of Mary Sues. So no, not THAT bad.

He doesn't do it because he LIKES cereal Lotion. He does it because, for him, it's the equivalent of a dog marking its territory. It makes him feel like it's "his" apartment.

Kinda makes me wonder how Thane's "running, leaping, spinning neck snap" would kill a Krogan?  I guess it tears enough 2nd circulatory connections to do the job...

Well, Thane did list an alternate method of killing krogan simply as... "bomb".

Without context it's pretty difficult to explain how bad that scene is. If you or anyone is able to encounter Kai Leng the cereal killer in ME3 with a straigt face, it's only good for you. In a sense, I guess I should envy you.

ROFL, Kai Leng the Cereal Killer.

Goddamn it, now taking him seriously is gonna be harder.

He's gonna have to kill a bunny on screen for me to hate him.

-1.

Would only read it as long as I don't have to pay for it and if I am really bored. Or hospitalized.

See Bioware? You let Dietz ruin a perfectly competent character for us.
