The aim is for Bioware to disavow the novel from official Mass Effect Franchise lore.

In other words, make it noncanonical. It never happened.

Yeah, you can actually read that part in the excerpt... and I still say it's next to damn impossible for that to ever happen. <_<

At least, not without the turrians bombing the batarians back to the Stone Age in response.
