Something to  possible erros - Grayson transformation
In Retribution is Grayson infected by selfreplicating nanites send in his head, immediatelly become unconcious and nanites then change his body, when he was lockdwon and isolated. Unfortunatelly I haven't this part in English so I can't quote it.
In Deception is proces described like this:

The air at the center of the chamber shimmered, a picture took shape, and Grayson began to scream. His body was naked, he had been strapped to some sort of framework, and his skin had a grayish tint. Open incisions could be seen on his legs. And as he screamed, thin snake-like cables could be seen entering his body, apparently of their volition.
And, as the camera zoomed out, people wearing lab coats could be seen. "No!" Grayson said, as his eyes flicked from face to face. "For the love of god stop them. I'll do anything... Anything you want. Don't let them do this to me."
But rather than stop the process the onlookers took notes as the cable things squirmed under the surface of Grayson's skin, dimly seen lights appeared under his epidermis, and the cords in his neck stood out. "Kill meeeee," Grayson whimpered. "Please kill me," but no one did

Big nanites....

Hmm... Just saying, but I think you should add the pages on which the errors happen to the doc as well? Not required but, it would be cool.

That's a good idea, actually.

Yeah, that whole "PLEEEASE KIIILLLLL MEEEE!" crap is nothing like what happens in Retribution.  Grayson was strapped to a table, unable to move or speak, when they implanted him.   After the procedure rendered him unconscious, they chucked him in a cell and observed as the nanotech gradually remodeled him from the inside out. The only time he did anything even close to that was when the Reapers put on act for the turians when they found Grayson after attacking the station.

I have a copy of Retribution in English and I just skimmed over the pages 86 - 90. Grayson doesn't say those words. Actually he doesn't say anything at all.

I just read the googledocs. I deeply regret it.

I've always known Dietz was bad, but this... this is just systematic rape of the franchise. My soul is desperately calling out for Casey or Mac to come out and admit that the damn thing is not canon and that hiring Dietz was a massive mistake.

I mean... allowing someone to do this to your franchise is like allowing some stranger to molest your child. It's just wrong on so many levels.

I'm trying to imagine how that coversation among the batarian slavers must have gone...

Batarian captain: Alright boys, now that we managed to fit this highly advanced Tantalus drive core to our old ship, you know what we should totally do?
Batarian: What's that, boss?
Captain: Why, raid Palaven, of course.
Batarian: You mean, attack the homeworld of the species with the largest fleet in Citadel space whose M.O. when coming under attack is to completely obliterate their enemy so they'll never even think of attacking again? The species where everyone over 15 is a trained soldier? That Palaven?
Captain: YES.
Batarian: Why that sounds like a brilliant idea, sir! There is no possible way it could end poorly for us at all. And by us I mean batarians in general.
Captain: I know!
Batarian: Cause, y'know, it's not like they're also a Council species or anything.
Captain: Right? It's perfect. Set course: Palaven.

And thus ended the glorious days of the Batarian Hegemony.

Well we should thank him for bringing us all together in agreement, since well, there hasn't been really anything major we have disagreed on in book.

Excluding if you count what are consider a flaw in the book.

My Immortal is much better.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, only not done on purpose.

I'd forgotten all about that show! I know what I'll be doing for the next few hours.

Quite frankly, I don't remeber a day where people on the BSN have all been in such agreement.

At the end of the day, nothing in the book REALLY has any effect on the game. So yeah, I'm just going pretend I never read any of it. And to be totally fair, while they were more factually correct, Drew's books weren't any better from a literary standpoint either.

Wow.  A lot of these inconsistencies and contradictions put Star Trek to shame and that’s saying something.

*moans* ...Who dares awaken me from my lurking slumber ?

By the Creators ... I haven't seen so much turmoil since DA II was released !
And judging by the quotes posted around here this has to be the greatest debacle in the history of all of BioWare's franchises. I'm wondering what will happen on book release day.

Also... Omega : the Galaxy's Anti-Citadel, the rock and metal embodyment of eternal vice and lawlesness, the worst sentient life has to offer, TARTARUS ITSELF for any decent folk and the only comparison that pops into this guy's hollow head is a BLOODY ROYAL ORB ?!

I'd donate my money just to buy all the stocks and burn them !

On a lighter note, what's a Space Pirate Queen without subsurface torpedoes and giant, orbital, royal orbs, eh ?

Never ever seen such a mess from a lore point of view from such a respected franchise. Let this be a message to ALL franchises not to hire dietz for tie in novels. Third time lucky hopefully he'll get turnned down.
