Huh. I wonder, it's kinda out there, but what if this(the book, not the thread) is a PR run with the name? Deception.

Leaked a fake script of the book and the preview pages loaded with errors that won't actually be there...

So where should the vial of tears from a turian saint that was sold at the auction be filed? As far as we know, turians have neither saints nor tears.

I think we drowned the mods in our tears, if it is indeed what they feed on.

Well they might have something analogous to tear ducts, but yeah: there are no turian saints. Unless they're going with that insane ancient turian religion that Mac came up with.

No, that's reasonable. Introducing something new isn't contradicting established facts.

That's the only thing I'm concerned about - seems to be treading a fine line between discussion and off topic comments. Don't want this locked! :crying:

These last few days have solidified a permanent place in Bioware Social Network history.

Because of US, and a terrible novel.

What would be wrong with giving Dietz a warm welcome in BSN Deception launch party?

As hillarious as some of this is,  I do want point out that you can look to hard for errors.  For example:

"76. A salarian is said to have “Big , luminous eyes” - Salarian eyes do not glow. [Error: Lore]"

To me that simply sounds like an adjective descibing that individual Salarian's eyes.   Like being told you have "glittering eyes" or "radiant eyes" doesnt mean a humans eyes really glitter or radiate.   I really doubt they mean to change lore to say Salarian eyes are now luminous with that one word.

I can only however read those three words.  If someone can say otherwise with more to support it, fair enough. To me though the word "luminous" simply sounds like an adjective and not a lore error.

The point isn't to judge intent or explain how or why something ended up wrong.  It's simply to catalogue when something conflicts with established facts.  And a salarian with glowing eyes does.  And it doesn't make sense from a more metaphorical POV anyway.  Salarians just don't have brightly colored eyes.  Most are jet black.

Indeed they are and your right they certainly dont glow.  As I said I can only judge the comment by those three words as I have not read the book.  If luminous or similar words have been repeated several times thats fair enough.  If its only appeared once I would just say its a poorly used adjective to describe him.   One poor use of an adjective seems a bit pedantic and would push what I would consider cataloguing a lore error.  That would just be gramitcal oversight in my opinion and nothing more.

Still as I said if its used more then once I retract that statement of course.
