Now that's just silly.. I will agree that there are too many objects that do not belong in the ME universe due to the vast cultural changes there would be between now and then.. Dietz has a hard time imagining what life on other planets would be with advanced tech. And that's a problem.

I also have  two references in my sig. Now, I don't think I'm ever going to change it again. This novel has a gold mine of memes from its descriptions.
