Hendel was given the title "Hendel Vas Idenna" by the quarians?!?
EDIT:
Hendel had given his name to the guard but reintroduced himself and his companions. Tar nodded. “You are listed in our records as Hendel Vas Idenna. And you are considered to be an honored member of the ship Idenna. Were it not so I would have refused to meet with you.”

Thing is it's our fanatism that fills Bioware's pockets, so really we have a right to say we're pissed about something if we feel their product or events are abysmal. If they didn't want to see it, they would not have given us a forum.
Thing is, nothing has changed since then.
Some things have changed. There is now an over 200 page thread trying to get this book banned from Mass Effect canon, and the BSN has been united under a common banner: hatred of this book. The second part in particular counts as change, I think.
Edit: Just remembered, we also have an article on Kotaku, which also counts as change, at least in my humble opinion.

I did as well. Halo: The Flood really is a masterpiece in comparison to this.Dwailing wrote...

Book's already been burnt, so...
I usually don't support the burning of books... but I understand why he did it and... BURN BABY BURN!(Renegade action + 5 points)
I'd say both +5 Paragon and +5 Renegade! We're not doing this just for the single purpose of bashing after all.
Fair point. My disappointment in the book is exacerbated by the fact that I actually enjoyed Halo: The Flood, Dietz's other game based book/tie in.

Dietz's translation of 'Keelah'Selai' (or the one Bioware originally gave him) is incorrect, if we're assuming the game canon overrides the books.
It's not a major ME3 spoiler to point out the discrepancy, but I won't post it here because some people might want to wait.
But the two translations are poles apart. They could not be easily reconciled with each other, they mean completely different things.
It might mean Dietz took it upon himself to come up with a translation, or that Bioware changed the translation after they gave that one to him, or that they've changed it after the ME3 info was leaked.
That said, ME3's translation of the line has *MUCH* more poignancy and is tied to the context of where the conversation happens. I'd suggest it's impossible that they'd have changed the translation, which means the one in Deception is wrong,
