Fair point.  My disappointment in the book is exacerbated by the fact that I actually enjoyed Halo: The Flood, Dietz's other game based book/tie in.

I did as well. Halo: The Flood really is a masterpiece in comparison to this.

I agree completely, although I feel compelled to point out that almost anything short of Twilight would probably be better than this.

P. S.  I haven't actually read Twilight, but based on the general consensus of almost all the non fan girls and the horrible sounding idea behind the series, I think I can safely invoke its name here.
