Not at all.

Oh, and apparently quarians are now somehow psychic too, cause when Hendel threatens one of them (for having throwing Gillian out earlier) in an enclosed room, two heavily arms quarians quickly enter the room "having been summoned by a means unknown".... dear god, how much more sh*t can there be to this damn thing?
Or... a wizard did it?
Eh, that comes off as nitpicking though.

Wizards really know how to manipulate them mass effect fields.

Was she ever a exotic dancer on Omega?

Quick question to those who know more of the character of Aria T'Loak than I do:
Was she ever a exotic dancer on Omega?
At first, yeah, then she got in close with Patriarch, and eventually took over.

Sod it, I'm rewriting the prologue. First chapter too if I have the time. Just for me: it will feel like an exorcism of some sort.
Someone beat you to it, Joe.
But yes, almost anything on that site is better than this travesty. No matter the errors, the writing itself (with its juvinile language and cereal eating shenanagans) is all on Dietz.
Oh, thank god; I've more than enough ff responsibilities.
We should make it into a challenge.
so far that is much better than Dietz's version

She showed up on Omega with just the clothes on her back. Her "trophy" Patriarch said he thought she was just some random other asari dancer.
Big mistake.

She MIGHT have been. Patriarch mentions that he thought she was just another dancer when they first met, but it is possible that might have just been a figure of speech to show that he thought she was insignificant when he first met her.
Both of them are unreliable narrators, but it's not unreasonable to assume that Patriarch was truthful about that part.

Just double checking.... the way Diezt described it made it sound rather "questionable" (or maybe that's just a result of me having to analyze everything in this novel because of how damn terrible it is to the lore of ME...).LPPrince wrote...

Yeah, even the correct information is suspect when it's in a Dietz novel.

@Mr. Kusy
Here's a couple of tidbits:
A tweet from Casey Hudson -
"Finished my final review of the #MassEffect Deception novel. A really fun lead-in to #ME3! Kai Leng is a badass. January 31 release."
@CaseyDHudson 5 months ago
And an acknowledgement from Dietz -
"Plus many thanks to Casey Hudson, Mac Walters, and Tricia Pastemak for their advice and guidance."
Take what you will from it.
Edit: didy beat me to the second part.
Yeah I think ME3 is going to be the last thing I have to do with Mass Effect. I keep coming here hoping to find something that will make me excited again for all things Mass Effect, but it's been the complete opposite in just about every case. I mean besides the trilogy I really don't see any future left in this series right now. Oh well maybe EA can turn Mass Effect into a fun multiplayer thing and we can all forget that Mass Effect was originally a story based game series. Honestly I think I'd be grateful if they did so at this point as then I can sort of lay the series to rest in my mind. I can then simply revel in the fun that is Biotic Throwing enemies for no reason at all and no longer concern myself whether or not it makes any sense even according to the fiction.
Actually hell yeah! Bring on the Asari Bikin Spacei Matches. It takes place in a vacuum and you score points by throwing your enemies out of the game sphere using Biotics. Also it will have great physics fellas.
And nevermind you how half-naked Asari can breathe in space. IT DOESN'T MATTER NERD!
(Yes I'm horribly jaded what's new?)

Yeah, if you talk to Aria, you find out she didn't show up quite so empty-handed as Patriarch believes, so if she did dance for a time, it was just a way to get into his organization.

Cool! I'll have to listen even MORE closely to her dialogue now.
